Shehnaaz Gill, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s multi-starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has also signed Rhea Kapoor’s upcoming movie. The movie will be helmed by her husband Karan Boolani and will also feature Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pedenekar in pivotal roles. The movie is reportedly a modern take on relationships.
According to a source associated with the project, “Like Rhea’s previous film Veere Di Wedding (2018), her upcoming movie is also a women-oriented subject. Shehnaaz is the latest to join the cast of the film, which is slated to go on floors by the end of this month. This film will see Shehnaaz in a different avatar.”
Shehnaaz Gill got her first big break with the Punjabi movie Honsla Rakh, featuring Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role. The film was released last year and garnered a lot of love and appreciation from the fans.
Talking about Salman’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Shehnaaz will be sharing screen space with the likes of Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, and Siddharth Nigam. The movie will be directed by Farhad Samji.
