On the occasion of International Women’s Day, she shared a video on her social media handle where she talked about the increase in crime rates towards women during the lockdown. She also spoke on the importance of speaking about the matter and not hiding it under any circumstance.
She said, “Let us come together support such Women, help them, encourage them to seek help, and empower them. Crime and violence towards women is a serious issue and the authorities must do whatever it takes to reduce the cases.”
