According to the latest rumors making the rounds, the show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani will soon go off air. The show which was premiered on December 21 last year is a remake of the Bengali series Mohor. Featuring Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha as lead, SAAKK failed to get the desired TRP. According to a source close to the production house, “One of the main reasons why the show is going off air is because the TRP is low and hasn’t gone up in the past one month. The makers have tried their best to bring in several twists and turns but it has not helped,”
Though there is good news for those who liked the show. According to news from a reliable source, the show might continue on the web platform of the same channel. “There is a possibility that the show might wrap up on TV but will continue on the OTT platform. But a final call on this will be taken by July first week,” added the source.
Producers Deeya and Tony Singh could not be reached but lead actor Karanvir Sharma in a conversation with BT shared, “I have no information about this. I do not know if the show is going off air or will continue on the web. I am just doing my job. I come to shoot for it daily.”

Dear even though its a rumour, that does not neglect the fact that the trp rating needs to go up because it is quite true that the makers have bought in a lot of twists and turns (literally giving the viewers what they want) but stil the trp has not increased, its either stationary or decreasing. 7 pm is very crucial for many people so although the trp may not increased that much, they need to make the show the timeslot leader back again as before. 🙂

Very true, TRP not increasing due to the time slot n no repeat telecast n no promos. Channel is the main reason for low TRP.

It’s really hurting that show which deserves attention and appreciation somehow is failing.

I have been a huge huge Dan of Karan kundra. And started watching YRKKH . But it was so boring that after 10 episodes post his entry I stopped watching
And SAAKK I wTch each episode four times a day

Brainwashed and convinced close friends and relatives to watch it .
I know people are not mad like me but still for anyone it’s worth watching at least once
Please don’t deviate from main message in the show for as love can change hearts, and girls are no less the boys, every one cannot fight for their love

Every body in the show is acting so we’ll ,even Alka Kaushal ( badi ma ) is doing such a great justice with her role rest Deepa, Khalid,Kanchan even Reema are playing well
I am totally agree with you. We love to watch this story specially because it’s different from other stories when we watch in star plus. We never went to miss a single episode. We wish to see the Shuriya and Anokhi story in star plus. We are huge fans of this tele.

I don’t understand this TRP thing in india. I’m not from india but I watch this on TV at least 2-3 times per day just hoping my watching could also add to the TRP. The time slot which is allotted to this serial is mostly falls in working period and i saw that there is only ome repeat telecast to this serial…channel is doing unfair to this serial….it’s the channels partiality going on …other wise The show is superb lovely and exactly what viewers love and admire..The Starcast is Excellent absolutely classic performance by all of them ❤

I don’t understand the trp rating too, someone on Twitter told me that we that watch outside India don’t count and know why STAR plus is giving the show new promo.
This serial should be #1 rating, it is a beautiful show with lots of positivity, it is different, love Shaurya’s attitude.

I agree there are other shows that is so repetitive and has become boring in its daily showings that I actually switch channels after Shaurya and Anokhi. I myself actually look at each episode of Shaurya and Anokhi more than once. Karanvir gives such an amazing performance each and every time.
Karanvir, Debattama and its entire cast should take a bow, their acting is superb a real delight.
