The holiday season is here and many have already chalked up their travel plans. Shama Sikander and her fiancé James Milliron have also made their plans but with a twist. In a recent interview with BT, Shama talks about it and reveals, “Unfortunately, on account of what is going on due to the pandemic, we don’t know if we should be traveling yet. There are also a lot of restrictions in other countries. Usually, I like to go to London at this time of the year, but I think I will have to let it go this time. And yes, I will miss it for sure. But we are definitely planning to go to Dubai as it’s the nearest getaway and it seems safe, right now. So, Dubai it is for my winter-cum-Christmas holiday.”
Talking about her love for traveling in the winters, Shama says, “Winter is one of my favorite seasons; I love the monsoon, too. Winter, because I just love the clothing that is special to the season. You get to layer up in the most stylish outfits at this time. I also love the feeling of the cold wind touching you and you needing that warmth. It’s lovely to head to places where you have a heater, fireplace, etc. The whole element, the mood that is created because of winter is so romantic and beautiful, it brings so much warmth to us as humans. It feels like someone is looking out for us and protecting us. That whole charm and beauty of life come out in the winter. You also get to eat some yummy food as you tend to feel so hungry in winter.”
She concludes by saying, “I have a puppy now and as he’s not ready to travel, I am in two minds. Maybe we will do a week or two and come back soon so that we can be with him. Other than that reason, I am really looking forward to getting out. I haven’t traveled anywhere in a long time.”
