Shakti fame Puneett Chouksey talks about over training at the gym and why he avoids it

Actor Puneett Chouksey, who is known for his work in ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ and ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ is a fitness freak and loves to go to the gym regularly. In an interview with BT he talks about it and shares, “Undoubtedly, regular exercise and going to gym benefits our health, mind and body. Not only does it boost our energy, it also increases lean muscle mass, decreases the risk for certain health conditions and helps us manage our weight. Besides, it also improves our mood and adds years to our life. The advantages of gym workouts over others, is that they provide several different ways to exercise. So, going to the gym every day does become boring and tedious.”

Puneet also talks about avoiding overtraining. He says, “I avoid overtraining at the gym and also advise others to refrain from doing that. Getting to the gym on a regular basis can do wonders for your health. However, too much of a good thing can also have negative effects, especially if you’re not careful. If you exercise daily, make sure to pay attention to any signs and symptoms of overtraining, including excess fatigue, decrease in your performance, problems with sleep, and recurring injuries. If you notice these things happening, it might be time to reassess your workouts and scale back on the number of days you’re hitting the gym.”

Talking about his professional life Puneett has also worked in TV shows like ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, ‘Naagin 3’, ‘Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha’, and ‘Vish’ among others.
