Shailesh Lodha aka Taarak sues the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for payment dues

Shailesh Lodha, who rose to fame with his role as Taarak Mehta in the television sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) quit the show in April 2022. The actor has been complaining about unpaid dues for a while and now has taken the matter to court.

According to the reports, Shailesh has filed a lawsuit against the producers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in order to receive his outstanding salary. Shailesh filed a complaint against TMKOC producer Asit Modi for unpaid dues in March and also sued his production firm.

The actor has also approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to resolve the matter. Neither Shailesh nor Asit has yet commented on this. However, the project head of the show, Suhel Ramani told the publication that they are not taking any legal route as they had never ‘refused to give his payment’. “We have already informed sir (Lodha) to take his dues and sign the required papers.”
