The last year and a half have been dreadful for many people. A number of actors, including the veterans, have opened up on how they are struggling financially.
One of them was veteran actress Shagufta Ali who recently came out to talk about her struggles. The actress also talked about her financial crisis. Since then the actress has been offered help by a number of people including some celebs.
Shagufta who also mentioned that she needs work to get back on her feet has been offered a role in an upcoming film.
The actress has already started shooting for the movie which was offered by one of her colleagues from the industry. Talking about it in an interview with ETimes, Shagufta shared, “My friend Avinash Dhyani offered me a role for his film Sumeru which I agreed to do although it is a small role but an important one.”
She further added, “As am undergoing treatment for my eyes, my doctors allowed me to do as it was not a big role and the lights used in these are not as harsh as it used to be in the past.”
