Scene 1
Baji comes to the lake for pooka.
Pragati sees a woman hers stuff has fallen. Pragati helps her in picking up the basket. She says where are you kids? She says my son is on border and daughter in law is pregnanat. Pragati picks her basket and takes it to her house. Kasturiasks Baji where is pragati? He says we fell asleep in the camp. She would be coming.
Devi comes and asks Kasturi where is pragati? Pragati says she would be coming.
Praagati says aunt where is your house? She says a bit far from here.
Pandit ji says where is the bride? We are running out of time. If the time is over we won’t have time to do this again for a long time.
Kasturi says baji where is pragati? Sethji is coming with uttara. pragati leaves the basket at the old woman’s house

The pooja starts. Everyone does the rituals to clean them.
Pandit ji says now give her a shower from turmeric and milk. Uttara pours milk on Pragati and baji. They pour water from lake on them. Pandit ji says the pooja is over. Now they both are pure to become part of devsu. Everyone leaves.
Scene 2
Kasturi says to Pragati I was so scared. Pragati says sorry. Kasturi says don’t be. Everything will be fine now. Not everyone is lucky like you. Pragati says there is some pain that you hide behind this smile. Kasturi says at least I can hide for today.
You will be Sethji’s daughter in law to be. Praagati says sethji said she doesn’t accept us at all. Kasturi says everything would be fine with time. Pragati says I hope you are right. I hope she accepts me. Kasturi says think about Baji not his mom. They laugh. Kasturi says there is a grand pooja in village tomorrow. Let me bring its stuff too.
Sethji is coming. Uttara helps her. Wasu comes in the kitchen too. She says wow mom you are making Baji’s favorite dish. Sethji says its Raghu’s fav too. I am making for him. Uttara says I was so scared when she didn’t reach on time. Thank God everything went well.
Wasu says Pragati is a nice girl. I am sure she must be stuck somewhere. Kasturi told me she got ready in the morning.
Sethji comes and says such a good smell. What is cooking? Wasu says your fav vegetable. uttara says what else would you like? Sethji says I would eat anything you make. Wasu says doesn’t your city wife make food? Sethji says I came back here to have food of your hands. Otherwise I was happy. They laugh. Baji says I really missed you. Uttara says everything will be fine now. Wasu says don’t ever leave this house. You are the life of this house. Devi says she is right. We used to cry every night. Now you are back everyone will be happy together. If your wife doesn’t do another drama.
Baji says she got late because she was helping chachi in picking up her stuff. Devi says ask her to help me as well. she is so nice. baji says okay I will tell her.
Sethji says to Raghu pandit ji has decided day after tomorrow for wedding. You have to look after all the arrangements. Tell BAji and his wife that people of devsu give time importance. If they wanna live here they have to take care of these things. I am always scared when I see that girl. She would do something that will lead me into taking another harsh decision. She has to follow the rules here if she wants to live here.
