Anika entered a room following Shivay. The room was fully decorated with red loved shaped balloons. Scented candles were increasing the awesomeness of the mesmerizing atmosphere. She looked confusingly towards Shivay. Shivay came close and held her by waist. She could now feel his breath on her nose. He was that much close. He was about to grab her lips and Anika closed her eyes to feel every moment passing through and she wanted to forget everything. She suddenly experienced a hard push; she opened her eyes to see the person who pushed her. She was shocked to see Shivay smiling wickedly looking at her condition. “What you thought…. I will once again do this mistake?” Shivay asked Anika… no response came from the other side so he continued further “ohhh…. Come on yaar now how can you think I will again lo…..” he stopped and corrected his words “ohh now please don’t think I will beg you or I will accept you back in my life” Anika was totally confused by this time, she tried to register every words Shivay spoke but was very confused that why Shivay became her bagad billa just some moments back. “Now you are might be thinking that why I got you over here and why I held you close like before” Shivay looked straight to Anika’s eyes which were reflecting the pain but she was controlling the ters from coming out “hmm…. actually I wanted to hurt you now see you are hurt and I am enjoying it very much” Shivay turned to other side. A lone tear escaped from Anika’s eye she turned to go and Shivay pushed her hard. This act was so vigorous that she collided with the table and fell down and got hurt on her forehead. Blood was oozing out from the injury. Shivay turned towards her and lost all his words after watching Anika’s condition. He moved forward to help her but Anika signaled no and got up by herself and went away from the room.
She went back to her house. On her way rain accompanied her and she returned home all drenched. Still the blood was oozing out. As soon Gauri opened the door she got shocked to see the injury and her condition. “Didi… how this happened” Gauri asked her “just a mark of love Gauri” Anika simply answered. Gauri helped her to change her clothes and also first aided her wound. “No first aid can cure this wound Gauri… so please leave it the way it is” Anika again said “will you just shut up… now enough is enough…. I will say the truth to everybody…. Why will only you suffer?” Gauri’s anger was clearly visible on her face. Gauri took her phone and called Mr. Shivay Singh Oberoi. Anika initially did not understand but when she realized this she took away the phone from her hand, cut the call and put the phone down. Anika folded her hands infront of Gauri and continued “please Gauri don’t do this, I am habituated to this pain now, the truth will ruin everything please don’t do this” now Anika fell down on her knees and touched Gauri’s feet “please don’t do this” Gauri soon made Anika to sit beside her. She hugged Anika just like a mother does when their daughter is in pain. “Didi you are like my maa…. I love you and more than that I respect you, you are my khidkitor Anika didi who can never fall weak no matter what happens” Gauri completed and broke the hug. She wiped away Anika’s tears and continued “ didi… whatever happened between you two was by choice and this can be made perfect please didi for once you allow us to speak the whole truth to bere bhaiyaa he has the right to know it please” “no Gauri nothing can hurt him more than that truth…. Please you ask me or request me anything other than this I am ready to give… but not this, if you ask my life also I am…..” Gauri did not let her complete the sentence and put her finger on her lips. “Okkk… will never from now will ask you about this matter now you please have something and go to sleep”. Anika had dinner and went to sleep.

The next morning arrived soon. As if the time is also taking test of both of them. Anika woke up and she was suffering from headache but then also got ready to go for her work. Gauri came and touched her. She quickly removed her hand and touched her forehead and near the neck. “Didi your body is burning with high temperature… you stop I am going in place of you” Gauri said in a very worried tone. “No Gauri if I don’t go he will think I lose but I can’t loose so easily, it is very important for me to go over there” Anika said and got up from bed “Then I am also coming with you” Gauri insisted. Anika had no other option and she agreed.

The two sisters soon reached the ceremony and Anika became happy to see the decorations made by the decorators exactly the way she advised them the day before. Om saw Anika and Gauri entering from the gate. His heart skipped a beat after seeing Gauri. He wanted to apologies for what he did three months back with her. But he decided to clear every misunderstanding between them at the end of the day after every function. Anika has checked everything very keenly and sat down at some place with Gauri beside her. Om came towards them. “Bhabhi you are okay?” Om asked with concern “yes Om you just go and enjoy” Anika answered. Gauri got up from her place. Om was going from there “Omkara ji I want to say something to you” Gauri said to Om and then looked towards Anika for her permission. Anika nodded her head in yes. Gauri and Om went aside. Gauri informed Om that Anika has high fever and is also suffering from severe headache. Om became concerned and went towards Anika “Bhabhi why you came here in this condition?” “it’s ok Om I am sitting over here see everyone is enjoying the ceremony you just go and join them” Anika said firmly “But bhabhi no one is enjoying this just the fake smile for Shivay… but yaa if someone is really enjoying then she is definitely choti maa” Om said and looked towards Pinky with full hatred. “Forget it Om” Anika said and looked to another side where SSO and Meghna came to the party holding each other’s hand. The sangeet ceremony ended in a good note. Shivay did not trouble Anika rather he was with Meghna all the time and was staring at Anika at times. Guilt was clearly visible in his bluish orbs which turned slight grayish due to shame and guilt in them.

At evening the mehendi ceremony started. The mehendi girl insisted Anika to put mehendi on her hand as well but she refused. SSO got another chance to insult her. “Ohhh… so Miss. Only Anika is not putting mehendi because she is missing her husband or is it because her husband left her. Anika did not utter a single word and extended her hand to that mehendi applying girl. The girl got shocked after touching burning hands of Anika “mam…” she cried but soon Anika nodded her head in negative to stop her from saying further. Anika was now unable to sit more and she started her search for Gauri as she was nowhere to be seen. Anika called Om and Om rushed towards her “Om do you know where is Gauri… I can’t sit like this for more… tomorrow I need to come early as well so…” Anika said, soon Om replied “Bhabhi she must be over here only you wait for two minutes I am searching her” after completion Om started to search Gauri. More half hours passed and now Anika is becoming restless. A call came on Om’s phone just five minutes back informing that Gauri got kidnapped. Om was finding the way to face his bhabhi and again his phone rang. This time it was Anika who was calling. He picked up the call and did not utter a single word. “Om you got her?” now Om decided not to say anything to Anika as she is already sick. “Bhabhi I met her fifteen minutes at the back lawn she went somewhere to arrange some cut pieces of clothes ordered by her boss. She will return soon and after that can I spend some time with her? I assure you she will be back by tomorrow morning” Om’s voice trembled many times while saying this lie. Anika was sensing something was wrong but she agreed as she believed Om very much. Om dropped her to her home and went in search for Gauri without letting anyone to know about it.
