COVID restriction has actually taken out the life from many shows. Many actors including the senior and the juniors were not a part of shoots and all of it felt very incomplete. One of the shows which has a big vacuum was Wagle Ki Duniya. Viewers have been majorly missing senior Wagles in the show ‘Wagle Ki Dunia’. But not anymore as Anjan Srivastav and Bharati Achrekar, playing ‘senior Wagles’, are all set to make a comeback into the show. JD Majethia is currently shooting the show at Silvassa and continues to provide fresh episodes to the viewers of Wagle Ki Duniya.
JD Majethia said, “We are still shooting here in Silvassa but will surely return to Mumbai once the timings for us is relaxed to 12 hours and I am very hopeful and the way Mumbai is performing we will climb to level one and government give us permission to shoot for long hours.”
Earlier, veteran actor Anjan Srivastav had said that he was ready to work but his producers were concerned due to the pandemic. He has been getting messages from his fans who were eager to see him and Bharati Achrekar back on TV.
Previously, in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Anjan shared, “They have tied me up at home although I am ready to work and I have been getting messages from people and fans of Wagle Ki Duniya who want to see me again on the show but my producers are worried about me. They are shooting in a bio bubble in Silvassa with minimal cast and crew.”
Further talking about the ban on senior citizens from going to the sets in Gujarat and Maharashtra, the senior actor stated, “Where will they shoot with us? Both Gujarat and Maharashtra have banned senior citizens from coming to the sets which is not fair to us. Artiste kabhi buddha nain hota –agar woh senior citizen bhi aur agar use acting karne nahi mile toh who waise hi khatam ho jayega.”
