Secretly yours…..(KKB) Part 2

Pragya reached Phoenix stadium. Flood of memories flashed in her mind. It was mixed with happiness, love, hatred and betrayal. She has decided not to visit this place again but now she is here again for work.

She sighed looking at the track she used to run. The first time she came here was with her dad. He is the one who identified Pragya as a person who can run to become as an athlete. Then her mum who would bring her food during her breaks was another person who is the source of her encouragement.

She was reliving her moments of happiness when someone patted her shoulder.

“Hi! Pragya right? Purab here!” He said.

“Hi! Nice to meet you! Shall we have a sit to discuss about the plans on the event here?” She asked politely.

“Sure!” He said with a wide smile. Both sat and Pragya gave a detailed description of the way the event can be organized.

He was impressed with her planning. He was even more impressed with the confidence she has in her plans.

Pragya “So what’s your take on this Mr Purab?” She asked by closing the file that she was showing to explain her plans.

“I must admit it’s very impressive. Couldn’t have imagined a better way than you had told.” He said making her smile.

“So…is it a yes?” She asked doubtfully.

“I would like to say a yes but….” He said making her feel worried.

“But what Mr Purab? Is there anything you want to change?” She asked.

“Your plan is absolutely stunning. There’s no doubt in that. But this location is not good.” He said.

“What’s wrong with this location? It’s spacious. It have all the facilities needed for the event.” She said wondering what’s wrong with the location.

“You don’t know? This is a weird place from a long time.” He said

“Weird place? I am not aware about it Mr Purab” she replied.

“Oh…no wonder your company had chosen this place for the event. Actually I wanted to deny this deal once it was stated as this place. But you know something in me said I should give a chance to hear about your plans before rejecting it.” He said making her shock.

“Is it that bad to choose this place?” She asked earning a nod from him.

“Yes it is, if not why is this stadium only used for certain events. There is no more big sports events or other events are being conducted.” He said.

Pragya starts to think and realizes he was right. After she stopped running and coming to this place, she never heard of any big events happening here.

“I think you have to Google on this place more. Anyways it’s a yes to you. No worries about the location as I have already one in my mind. I will send the details of it soon by email.” He said by standing.

Pragya thanked him for giving the offer. She also apologized for choosing this location. Purab said it’s alright and he is looking forward to work with her team for the event.

He left saying he needs to leave. Pragya was about to leave but something in her said she should stay back for a while.

Pragya sat on the bench outside the storeroom.
She searched for the details of the Phoenix stadium. She was shocked to find this place had strange things happening in the night.

The more she read she couldn’t believe any of it.

Pragya “Is it possible for anything like this to happen?” She says to herself when she heard glass breaking sounds from the storeroom. She enters the storeroom and finds something suspicious. She walks in further to look at a statue that caught her eye.
