Chapter 18
Sayi starts crying in the car. Advay consoles her.
Sayi – This time, let him choose. It’s his life, he should decide who he wants.
Advay nods.
Advay – we’ll go to our house?
Sayi nods and stays silent.
They reach the Rathores.
Sayi and Advay stand outside, waiting for the door to open.
Door opens, Sayi finds so many people there. She smiles.

Sayi smiles and was about to enter when dadu stopped her. Sayi looked confused.
Dadu : Megha beta, do the aarthi of our precious child.
Meghna : Yes Dadu.
Sayi was stunned to see Meghna. She looks at Advay.
Advay : Unfortunately I met you late, else you would be standing in her postion.
Sayi looked at him doubtfully.
Meghna : Come in Sayi.
Sayi nods and enters.
Dadu holds her hand and walk her to the living room. He makes her sit next to him.

Dadu cries in happiness.

Sayi looks on.
An elderly woman walks in and asks Sayi to stand.
Sayi obediently nods.
Advay – This is our Dida.
Sayi tells namsathe and touches her feet.
(Dida is our dadi in Ishqbaaz ‘Navnindra Behl’)
Dida – Who are you?
Dadu – She’s Sayi. Kamal’s daughter.
Dida – Oh, kamal’s daughter ha?
Sayi – Namasthe Dida. I’m Sayi Joshi.
Dida – You are not just Sayi Joshi.
Sayi looks confused.
Sayi – I am Sayi Joshi.
Dida – You are not Sayi Joshi. You are Sayi Joshi Rathore. Okay?

Dida – Next time when someone asks your name, keep your head straight and tell your name.
Sayi – Yes dida.
Dida sits on the sofa.

Sayi – 1st year Medical Student.

Before dida could say anything advay came near dida and whispered. Dida nodded.
Dida – Meghna, take Sayi to her room.
Meghna nods and leaves with Sayi.
Dida – Sayi, tomorrow onwards you can go to college from home.
Sayi smiles and leaves with Meghna.
Dida – Tell me now.
Advay tells her everything to them. They frown thinking about the struggles Sayi had to face when she was alone in that family.
Dadu – Good that it’s Chavan.
Dida – What do you mean?
Dadu – It’s easy for us to take revenge now.
Dida – If my kamal was here… (Sobs..) I miss my son.
Dadu hugs her and consoles.
Dadu – Maa, even I miss him.
Advay – What shall we do now? Sayi has given Virat the choice to make.

Meghna and Sayi reaches her room.
Meghna – Come Sayi. This is your room.
Sayi nods and goes in. She looks around. It was a very simple bedroom, with not much luxurious items. Sayi was relieved from the view of it.

Meghna – Because he asked me not to.
Sayi – Meghna didi, who is Aarav?
Meghna smiles.
Meghna – Aarav is Advay’s younger brother. He’s 4 years older than you. So call him bhaiya. Okay?
Sayi smiles and nods.
Just then a knock was heard. Both of them turned towards the sound. It was Samrat.
Sayi – Samrat dada…
Meghna – Hi Samrat.
Samrat (smiles) – Hello Meghna. Sayi..
Meghna – You both talk. I’ll get you something to eat.
Sayi – No didi, I’m not hungry.
Meghna – Okay. I’ll take a leave. You guys talk.
Both of them nods.
Samrat – Hi Sayi. Good to see back on your health.
Sayi smiles.
Sayi – dada, please sit.
Both of them sat on the sofa. There was an awkward silence.
Sayi – dada.. we are meeting for the first time. So let’s introduce ourselves.
Samrat nods.
Sayi – I’m Sayi Joshi Rathore. 1st year medical student.
Samrat – I’m Samrat Chavan. Military General.
They both smile and shake their hands.

Virat and Paakhi reached Chavan Niwas.
Ashwini and Mohit was waiting for them.
Ashwini – Godu, where’s Sayi?
Virat – Sayi, she left with Advay.
