Scene 1:
Location: Bharadwaj house and Laxmanpur
Sid is surprised to see roli not responding to his friendship proposal. Jhumki is tensed what to do. Sid says that roli has started thinking too much, and asks if she doesnt remember anything, about their love. When she says no, sid is energectic about their renewed friendship, and the second innings of their love, and they are lucky to get a second chance, to know each other, and behave as starngers all over again.
Simar is surprised as to where has jhunki gone at this hour. She decides to call her, but then remembers that prem has taken her phone away. Simar wonders if she has left the house. She searches through her almirah, and finds her stuff, and thinks that she would have definitely taken her stuff, had she left, and wonders where is she. She is searching around and is very tensed. She decides to go to mausiji and then retreats thinking that if she goes at this hour, and doesnt find jhumki there, then mausiji would give a barrage of questions, and she would be speechless. She decides to go and look in the kitchen.
Jhumki thinks that he’s talking non stop. Sid also thinks that he needs to stop talking and celebrate with her, as a chocolate cake is waiting for her. He asks her to come to the table. jhumki is tensed. she progresses towards the table. he tells her that this is the most important celebration, as god has given him back his reason for living, his roli. He asks her to cut the cake. As she is about to cut the cake, sid stops her, saying that she might have forgotten but she had made him learn, that they ned to wish before blowing the candles and cutting the cake. He decides to make a wish, and asks her to close her eyes, while he makes it. He says that roli and sid should always be together and should never part. As jhumki gets to go, and he finds her pallu almost cathing fire, he tries to take her pallu away, and jhumki gets scared. Sid tells her the reason, and apologizes. He says that he just wanted to spend some time with her, and understand her all over again. He asks if she doesnt want to spend time with him, and is free to go if she wants. Jhumki starts going, and sid is hurt and sad. But then she stops, and turns around to ask if he just wants to talk. sid is happy and says yes. Jhumki comes back again. He introduces himself in filmy style, and jhumki is surprised. He says he did because she loves films and SRK’s in particular. then he gets to normal introductions and extends his hand in friendship. She too shakes her hand, and says that she’s Roli, and then takes her hand away. Sid says that now he would tell her about both of them. He makes her tell a love story, with the two characters, resembling Sid and Roli, who met by destiny, and revisits his time spent with her. Jhumki keeps pretending to be interested, but she increasingly starts getting seriously engrossed in it, listening to sid intently. sid tells them her love story, that started from friendship to love. He says that they too needed to stand the test of time, and face many hurdles, like the divorce and viru kidnapping roli, but they came out victorious again and again. And finally their love defeated death too. He asks her if she wants to know the identity of the characters. He tells them that they were Sid and roli themselves.This is the story of their love, that went going stronger with each test. He says that destiny is again testing them, and they would face it bravely and come out victorious, and he just needs her to be by his side, forever. He asks if she would be supporting him. Jhumki stares hard at him, and then says that she’s hungry. Sid smiles at this. Sid asks her to wait for a minute, and gets a trolley full of fodd, with many courses meal.
Seeing the food, jhumki thinks that she wont be able to eat food, since she doesnt know how to handle them. She decides to do exactly what sid is doing, with full faith that she would be doing it. But she gives up, finding it too hard. As sid finds roli struggling with the food to be eaten by the fork and knife, he tells her that he would show her. As he keeps his hand on hers to make him learn table manners, Jhumki flinches at the touch, and drops the knife and fork, surprising sid. The screen freezes on Jhumki’s tensed face.
