Sargun Mehta extends gratitude to previous cast and welcomes new faces as ‘Udaariyaan’ embarks on a new journey
As Udaariyaan prepares to unveil a fresh chapter with new cast members, Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey are poised to lead the show into an exciting new phase, commencing with a leap on August 7th. In a heartfelt gesture, producer Sargun Mehta took to her social media platform to express her heartfelt appreciation for the original ensemble that contributed to the show’s early success, while also warmly welcoming the incoming actors who are set to take the story forward.
Reminiscing about the indelible memories created by the initial cast, Sargun Mehta paid tribute to Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, Isha Malviya, Karan Grover, Twinkle Arora, Hitesh Bharadwaj, Sonakshi Batra, Rohit Purohit, and Vivian Dsena for their notable portrayals. In a video featuring personalized notes for each actor, Sargun Mehta conveyed her genuine appreciation and admiration.
Sharing the video on her Instagram, Sargun Mehta wrote, “UDAARIYAAN KE ISS NAYE PADHAV MEIN neev daalne wale har actor ko dil se” (To all the actors who are laying the foundation for this new phase of Udaariyaan, from the bottom of my heart).
Addressing the new trio of leads, Sargun Mehta penned words of encouragement, stating, “You three have some big shoes to fill, but the time has come for you to showcase your magic. Rock it, superstars. Let the show begin.”
Sargun Mehta also highlighted the exceptional contributions of the previous cast members, such as praising Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as a stalwart pillar of Udaariyaan. She revealed Ankit Gupta’s pivotal role as the first audition for the show and recognized Isha Malviya’s exceptional fit for the characters Jasmine and Harleen, offering a glimpse into the bond shared by the cast and the producer.
