The episode starts with angad entering the palace as the messenger of hanuman. he comes to lord ram and touches his feet and says after so many days I have become pure after meeting you. lod ram picks angad and says get up, he then says it is nice meeting you angad. Everyone smile. Angad says hanuman has sent a message. Lord ram says yes angad what has my hanuman sent message for me? Angad says mata anjana promised kashiraj that she will protect him and hanuman has promised mata anjana to protect kashiraj. Angad says hanuman ji did not know that you promised rishi vishwamitra to bring kashiraj’s head, but now hanuman ji has promised to protect kashiraj. Laxman says so hanuman knows that brother ram has to kill kashiraj, why didn’t hanuman come here with kashiraj? Angad says even
There hanuman is praying to lord ram’s statue and says lord what do I do now? you made a promise and even I have promised to mata anjana, I don’t know what to do, I have to protect kashiraj and I will die for that before he dies. Hanuman says I know you will find a solution out of this. Kashiraj sees this and thinks I am the root of all this problem, because of me today a disciple and a god will fight, its better if I die from the hands of lord ram but if I die, even hanuman will die, its better I commit suicide and kill myself. Kashiraj goes.
Hanuman after praying goes to his house and fins kashiraj. He says kashiraj where are you? I brought the Prasad of lord ram. Sugreeva and everyone come. Hanuman says where is kashiraj? Sugreeva says yes, where can kashiraj go? suddenly sugreeva sees kashiraj standing on the end of a mountain cliff, hanuman says why is kashiraj standing there? Sugreeva says hanuman that cliff is not safe, brother bali had fought the bull demon here and since then the mountain has become unstable, save kashiraj. There kashiraj says lord ram forgive me and he jumps from the cliff, hanuman runs to save kashiraj and then takes his gadha and flies down, the rocks fall over them, hanuman destroys them and holds kashiraj and says why are you doing this? Kashiraj says leave me, let me die. Hanuman saves kashiraj and takes him inside the house, kashiraj says I am the reason for all this, I should die rather than watch all of you fight each other. Angad comes and says hanuman ji, lord ram said that you shall bring kashiraj to him otherwise there is one solution and you have to fight the army of ayodhya. Hanuman is shocked. Sugreeva says hanuman, me and my entire army is with you in this battle. Hanuman says this cannot happen, I have to go and meet lord ram, he will remove a solution out of this. It is nightfall and hanuman says the time is passing, I shall go to ayodhya and meet lord ram.
There lord ram is with sita in their balcony, sita says why don’t you convince rishi vishwamitra? Lord ram says rishi vishwamitra has taken his decision and I have to follow my dharma. Lord ram says hanuman will come with kashiraj. Sita says but lord, is there no respect for hanuman’s promise? Lord ram says sita which side are you on? What about my promise? Sita says prabhu, I am a wife and a mother, I have equal respect for both of your promises, but your promise is to take a disciples life and hanuman’s promise is to protect him. Hanuman comes and lord ram says see sita my hanuman has come. Hanuman keeps the gadha down and takes lord ram’s blessings, then he givs lord ram the arrow. Lord ram keeps the arrow and then says hanuman I know you have brought kashiraj, where is he? Hanuman has tears in his eyes and looks at lord ram. Lord ram says where is kashiraj? Hanuman cries and says lord ram I could not bring kashiraj here, I am sorry. Lord ram is sad and holds hanuman and hanuman stands up. Lord ram says hanuman I have promised rishi vishwamitra that I will bring the head of kashiraj. Hanuman cries and says even I have promised my mother anjana that I will protect kashiraj. Lord ram says but hanuman don’t you have respect for my promised? Sita says prabhu how can you ask this question to hanuman? hanuman has always kept your respect before his life, he kept your respect of promise in front of ravana and all the enemies you had, he has fulfilled your promise you have given and how can you ask this question lord? Hanuman says no mata, wait, now lord ram’s heart has parted into 3, one cares for his great disciple kashiraj, other cares for the promise he has given to rishi vishwamitra and the 3rd part cares for me, this is such a test no one must have gone through. Sita says see prabhu even now hanuman is cared about you. lord ram says hanuman on one side is my decorum and other side is yours, but the only solution to this is battle. Lord ram has tears and closes his eyes, hanuman cries as lord ram clenches his fist. Hanuman is sad and takes his gadha and flies back to sumeru. He meets up with sugreeva standing with his army.
Next day morning hanuman gets up and takes lord ram’s statues blessings. Kashiraj bathes in the river. There lord ram and sita pray to mata Shakti and sita does the tilak of lord ram.
Precap: hanuman in the battlefield says now this battle will be only between me and my lord ram, between a disciple and a god. Rishi vishwamitra says ram I am waiting for your promise to be fulfilled. Lord ram has tears and shoots arrow on hanuman, lord ram is pushed back by his grief and cries.
