Narad ji is all stuck in the snow that has piled up after Hanuman ji’s song. He asks for help from Hanuman ji. Shiv ji tells him that he can also have that effect on nature with his song. Narad ji realises his mistake. I had over prided myself for singing before the Gods and apsaras. But my words can only affect the living beings. Hanuman’s song can bring such non-living things to life too. He folds his hands before Hanuman ji and the snow disappears on its own. He is surprised while everyone else smiles. He greets Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. Hanuman ji too does the same thing. Shiva Parvati blesses them both.
Shri Krishna’s wives are amazed that Hanuman ji could break Narad ji’s arrogance too. They become curious about what happened to Punjisthala then. Shri Krishna says Punjisthala left the Swarg because of the curse. She came to earth and was born to Vanar raj Punjar as Anjana. She was brought up there with love and care. She was still an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Anjana was very beautiful. She started taking interest in learning about weapons too. Her father always encouraged her for it.
Anjana shoots a fruit hung on the tree specially or this purpose. Her parents look at her proudly.
Punjisthala was chosen to be the one giving birth to Hanuman after a lot of thinking. She was still not capable of carrying Lord Shiva’s ansh yet though. Anjana had to become capable for the same after passing through all the difficulties. Some strange events started taking place in her life. She was roaming in a nearby jungle once with her friends.
Anjana makes a Shivling from the soil. Her friends are enjoying playing in the water. They ask her to join them but she is too busy in making the Shivling. She hears some noise. She notices a bell at a distance. It is attached to a tail. Curious, she gets up to go and see who is there. The person starts running away but she can still hear the sound. She follows the sound / the person. The person (vanar) runs inside a cave at a distance. She continues to follow him. there is a Shivling there. She notices the tail behind the Shivling and suddenly it just disappears. She is surprised and then folds her hands before the Shivling.
Shri Krishna plays his flute. Rukmini and all his other wives are mesmerized by it. satyabhama is getting impatient though. We are so curious while you are playing flute. He continues the story. Mahadev’s ansh had started guiding Anjana before his birth only. A person’s entire life is written even before his / her birth. They have no option but to head towards their aim in life. Anjana’s birth had only one mission – Hanuman’s birth. That destiny only was pulling her towards a very special / different direction (in the form of Bal Hanuman). What happened next was very interesting.
Anjana thinks of teaching that naughty vanar a lesson if she gets a chance to see him again. She is going back when a strong wind blows suddenly. She prays to Lord for her safety. Someone starts laughing. She is scared to see a Rakshas standing before her. She still calls out to her Lord for safety. Rakshas proposes her to marry him. You wont be scared of anyone else then as I am the strongest in all the 3 lokas. Become my wife. He starts advancing towards her but she runs away. he warns her to come back. I am getting angry. She hides behind a tree. He is in no mood to let her go. he moves in another direction. She tries to run away but then trips. He is once again standing right in front of her. She looks away for a second and is surprised to hear him scream. She notices him lying unconscious before her. a huge stone is lying next to him. She is very much scared as she cannot see anyone around. she hears someone (Bal Hanuman) telling her to go away. I have made him unconscious. You can go now. There is a way out from the north side. She wipes her tears and runs towards that direction.
Shri Krishna’s wives wonder why Bal Hanuman guided ANjana to that scary jungle anyways. He helped her in escaping from there but still! He replies that everything happens for a reason. there must be some reason. Anjana reached Rishi Panak’s ashram. He offered her food and water and then heard her story.
Rishi Panak talks about the same Rakshas. Everyone here is troubled because of his misdeeds. Many warriors tried to kill him but he is too strong. We all have only one hope left now. Just like your Bal Vanar (Bal Hanuman), we too have our hopes pined on a Vanar only (Vanar Raj Kesari). His success only can promise us safety now. Vanar Raj Kesar is shown getting ready. He picks up his gada next.
