Payal Rohatgi has been making a lot of headlines with her gameplay in the show Lock Upp. Amidst all this, Payal’s boyfriend Sangram Singh threw up a surprise last week where he announced that they will tie the knot in July 2022.
During an interview with BT, Sangram talked about it and shared, “Yes, we have been together for 11-12 years now. We started living in for the longest time. It’s time we tie the knot.”
When asked if they plan to start a family soon, Sangram said, “Ab shaadi ho rahi hai toh, toh family toh start karenge. Our parents are old and so we want the kids early, but the rest depends on God.”
When asked if they also fight and have arguments, Sangram shared, “Jahan do bartan hain, wahan aawaz to aayegi. But Payal is a very nice girl. I think she hasn’t been understood. We both give a lot of freedom to each other in the creative space. I remember a lot of people predicted that our relationship won’t last. I was told Payal is not the right girl for me. There was a Brahmin who was a fraud; Payal used to get pujas done from him. I asked her to stop everything- when that man does not know his own future, how will he tell ours? Every relationship has its share of differences. But trust me, we have been thick and never taken a break in our relationship.”
When asked if he would also like to be a contestant in the show Sangram quipped, “Definitely, provided I have no prior commitment on the dates they want me.”
Talking about who can win ‘Lock Upp’, he said, “Payal, Babita Phogat, and Nisha Rawal. Munawar Faruqui and Karanvir Bohra are not strong; woh ladkiyon ko aage karke, unko dhaal banake, apni game khel rahe hain.”
