Sana Sayyad on getting good opportunities post her marriage; says, “My husband is very lucky for me”
Actress Sana Sayyad, who joined Kundali Bhagya to essay the role of Palki considers herself lucky. She talked about it in an interview with ETimes TV and shared how she was a little skeptical about taking up the role as the show revolves around Preeta and Karan’s love story.
She said, “I was being skeptical honestly because when you are offered a show for a leap, a show like Kundali Bhagya which is very popular and has been on-air for the last 6 years, you always have this thought that will the audience accept us or not. But when I got the narration I thought it was really beautiful and it wasn’t like a very rushed upleap. The show’s OG star cast is still there in the show and since they are the family members of both the heroes, they play a major part in making us family and a part of this show. I am really happy doing Kundali Bhagya.”
Talking about the love she is getting from the fans, she said, “It honestly feels unreal honestly the response that we have got. I don’t take this to heart. I really believe in destiny and feel kismat Ki baat hoti hai and like our show’s name Kundali Bhagya it was in our destiny. I am really happy and grateful that I am part of the show. I am thankful to my lord.”
When asked if she is choosy about her roles, Sana replied, “You get what you manifest. I’ve always believed in women empowerment and I believe shows should be progressive and not regressive. Luckily, I think I talk so much I have manifested this for myself. It has been my conscious choice to pick strong roles. Palki my character is a strong girl, she’s not a bechari and not a damsel in distress. She’s a doctor and a very sorted person. I enjoy playing such characters.”
The actress, who tied the knot to Imaad Shamsi in 2021 is enjoying her marital bliss. When asked about her married life, the actress said, “Life does change after marriage. Even Shraddha is married and she’s also doing the show. There are changes in life and they are for good. If you are happy in your life, everything is good.”
She added, “I think my husband is really lucky for me because ever since I’ve gotten married, I have bagged better opportunities. My family is really proud. My parents, in-laws, and husband are really proud of me. I feel really loved, blessed, and happy to be part of the family.”
