Reflecting on his victory in a recent interview, Samarpan Lama shared his feelings, stating, “It feels surreal! Winning my first dance reality show is truly a dream come true. The journey, marked by both success and failure, has made me a better dancer. I never imagined I would come this far in the show. My win is not just mine but also belongs to ‘My People’ who believed in and supported me. India’s Best Dancer Season 3 will always be close to my heart.”

Judges Sonali Bendre, Geeta Kapur, and Terence Lewis also expressed their thoughts on the grand finale and Samarpan’s win. Sonali Bendre commented, “I am so happy for my ‘cutie minister,’ Samarpan, on this big win. His love and passion for dance were evident in every act, and even though he is not a trained dancer, he never failed to impress us. Every finalist, including Shivanshu Soni, Anjali Mamgai, and Vipul Kandpal, displayed amazing talent with bright futures ahead of them.”

Geeta Kapur highlighted the exceptional talent of the season, especially praising Samarpan Lama, saying, “This season stood out with extraordinary dancing talent, and I am truly happy about Samarpan Lama’s win. His way of illustrating contemporary dance was incredible, and he will be the future of contemporary dancing.”

Terence Lewis, acknowledging the season’s special blend of talent, remarked, “Samarpan of 18 years brought in a new wave of contemporary dance that didn’t rely on gymnastics or circus acrobatics but rather real and sophisticated talent in dance. His win is historic as he will be the first Contemporary Male Dancer to win a title in this style, and I’m very happy that he will be the flag bearer for contemporary for a long time to come.”

Samarpan Lama’s victory in India’s Best Dancer 3 marks a historic moment and a promising future for the talented dancer in the world of contemporary dance.
