Sailesh Lodha is a very popular name in the television industry as he essays the role of Tarak Mehta in the insanely popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Now he will be seen in a brand new show – Waah Bhai Waah.
The rumour mills were abuzz for a while that the actor will join a new channel but no one had any confirmation. The actor-poet has started shooting for it too. News is confirmed as a teaser has been released by the channel on their Twitter handle featuring Shailesh Lodha.
The show will be the perfect amalgamation of poetry and comedy in the form of a Kavi Sammelan with satire on current issues. Sailesh will now be addressing his calling of poetry and will now make his appearance in a brand new show called ‘Waah Bhai Waah’.
Details of the show are still not out. The show is expected to be launched in June 2022. Shailesh Lodha will not only host this show but with other 3 poets from various parts of the country put up laughter filled poems. The show will be presented in the form of Kavi Sammelan where many poetry maestros will perform to get you rolling on the floor with their witty jokes and punchlines.
Earlier a report on ETimes said, “Sailesh has not been shooting for the show for the last one month and has no plans to return to the show. He is not very happy with his contract and he feels that his dates are not properly used in the show.” However, producer Asit Kumarr Modi said that he is not aware of any such developments.
