Ace producer Gul Khan is currently working on a new project for Disney+ Hotstar which is expected to be a cop-based show. According to the sources, both the leads might essay the role of cops in the show.
Actors Khushi Dubey and Altamash Faraz were being considered for the lead pair in the show. While Khushi is apparently finalized for the role, the deal with Altamash couldn’t materialize. The makers have now roped in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’ fame Sai Ketan Rao for the role.
Sai rose to fame with his angry businessman cum loving husband role in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’. His chemistry with Shivangi Khedkar was much appreciated and loved by the audience. Shivangi essayed the role of his wife Pallavi in the show.
Talking about Gul Khan, the producer has delivered many popular shows like Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Qubool Hai, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Ishqbaaaz, Nazar, Ishq Par Zor Nahi, Imlie among others under her banner Four Lions’ Films Pvt Ltd.
