Saathiya…Companion Part 16
Omkara took Gauri to the hospital.
Gauri was sleeping.
Kaal,Avantika,Gopi,Jaggi,Raja Rani were there.
Gauri opened her eyes.
Avantika caressed her emotionally:Gauri..are you alright?
Gauri:Yes Maa.
Kaal:I will call Omkara.
Gauri:Omkara?How can you call Omkara?
Raja:Why?
Gauri:I don’t have any contact with Omkara after school got over.Then how will you call him?It will be very difficult to trace him.
They were shocked.
Omkara who was standing near the door got shocked hearing this.
Om:This means Gauri forgot meeting me again and falling in love with us.
Om burst into tears.
Jaggi kept his hand on Om’s shoulder.
Om hugged him crying:I lost my Gauri.
Jaggi:No Om..don’t say like that.
They all went to meet the doctor Indravadhan.
Doctor Indravardhan:Gauri has forgotten a phase of her life.She remembers Omkara as her childhood love.But she does’nt remember meeting Omkara again and getting engaged to her.She is still waiting to meet Omkara.

Indra:In a way it’s a relief that she has’nt forgotten you but only your role in the latter phase of her life.
Avantika:Can’t we just tell Gauri that she is engaged to Omkara?
Indra:Don’t do that.It can harm her health.It’s a strain for brain.
Om:Does that mean that Gauri and I are separated forever?
Indra:No Omkara.Nothing like that.You have to recreate your love story.Meet her again and make her believe that she is meeting you again after school years.But before that we need to make Gauri’s treatment stronger.Otherwise Gauri will have more memory loss.We should not let that happen.And Gauri should’nt know about her disease.Make her believe that the tablets she is taking are vitamin tablets.
Kaal:Ok…
Indra:So after a year or so Omkara can come back to Gauri’s life again.Till then it’s better to be away from Gauri.
Om:I can do anything for my Gauri.
Jaggi patted him:Everything will be alright.
Gopi:Have faith in Kanhaji.You love will win.
One year passed…
Since Omkara was away from Gauri for a year Avantika started doubting if Omkara cares for Gauri now.But Omkara met Gauri at the reunion party.With the help of Sankalp ,Sonia,Jaggi and Gopi Omkara made Gauri believe that Omkara is suffering from love failure after the death of Rohini who was never Omkara’s love.This was to bring Gauri closer to Omkara.But when Avantika heard about Rohini Omkara relationship from Gauri she suspected Omkara’s love for Gauri.

Avantika Kaal in the room.
Avantika:What Omkara loves Gautamii?
Kaal:How can he?
Raja:I can’t understand anything.
Rani:But I know everything.I know why Omkara loved Gautamii and why and how she died.
All were looking at Rani eagerly.
Rani:Sonia had rung me up.She and Sankalp created a fake love story of Omkara Gautami to make Gauri sympathetic towards Omkara and make Gauri spend more time with Omkara to make their relationship stronger.It is all to unite Omkara Gauri in the most beautiful way.So don’t worry.
They all were in shock.

Omkara was sitting in his room shedding tears.
Suddenly he saw Gauri there.
He smiled:Gauri…

Suddenly he became dull.
Om:No..it can’t be Gauri.She hates me.
Gau:It’s me only Omkara.It’s not your illusion.
Omkara was surprised:Gauri..you came back?

Om was upset.
Jaggi Gopi Sankalp Sonia came.They all became emotional.

Gauri:I over reacted.Without thinking that you all can’t do anything with a bad intention I blamed all of you.Please forgive me.
They became upset.
Jaggi:No need to say sorry Gauri.You are right on your part.But we are right on our part.But it was only for the well being of you and Omkara.

Sankalp:We want both of you to be happy.

Gauri smiled tearfully.

Gauri walked off.
Sonia:It’s a relief that Gauri understood that we are not wrong and cheating her.
Sankalp:Yes.But Gauri is still waiting to know the truth.
All were dull.
Gopi:Kanhaji will show us a way to solve this.
Omkara was lost in his thoughts about Gauri.
Gauri was crossing the road thinking of the present problems.Suddenly a car came.Gauri who was lost did’nt see it and so the car hit her.She fell down severely injured.
Gauri got admitted in the hospital.All the family members were present there.
Omkara cried:When I thought I got my Gauri back again she is going away from me.
Kaal blasted at him in frustration:Stop it.Gauri won’t go anywhere.She will be with us always.Did you get it?
Jaggi Gopi came.
Avantika:How is my Gauri?
Jaggi:We did our level best.Bleeding is stopped.
Gopi:But Gauri’s brain is severely injured.An immediate surgery is needed.Otherwise she will be paralysed or will go to coma.
Avantika cried:Nooo.
Raja:My little sister can’t go to coma.She should roam around.No..I won’t let it happen.
Rani cried:Raja…Gauri will walk around …she will even fly like a butterfly.
Kaal:Do something please.Please make the surgery fast.
Raja:Please Jaggi bhaiyya..
Rani:Please give our Gauri back.
Omkara was numb.
