It is Malaika’s funeral. Malaika’s body is on the floor. The Modis and Malhotras are gathered around in their white clothes. Gopi sees the diya light at the temple flickering and it is about to lose its light. Gopi runs to protect the light. Priyanka enters along with Varun- the diya light finishes and Gopi senses abshagun. Gopi turns around is shocked to see Priyanka. Gaura tune plays whilst Priyanka enters.
“ Priyanka?” Gopi says. The Modis and Malhotras turn around and are stunned seeing Priyanka. Amba runs and hugs Priyanka and starts crying.
“ Priyanka, I am so glad you came. Kaki Ji has left us.” Cries Amba. Priyanka comforts her.
“ It was bagwan’s decision and we shouldn’t cry. Aunty’s soul wont be happy.” Priyanka says.
“ You are my childhood best friend. You are like my sister. I am so happy to see you.” Amba says. Priyanka greets the rest of the family. Radha and Daya are shocked seeing Varun.
“ Priyanka, who is this boy?” Radha asks.
“ This is my son Rohan.” Priyanka says.
“ No this is Varun.” Daya says. Radha shows Varun’s photo on her phone. “ He is my daughter Jaya’s ex boyfriend who isn’t on this world anymore. He committed suicide with poison. But how is his humshakal your son? I don’t believe you.” Radha says.
“ Enough Radha! You are accusing my best friend of a heinous act?” Amba says. Priyanka smirks evilly. Priyanka thinks that her childhood best friend blindly loves her.
“ Amba, I also think something is wrong. How could two people look exactly the same?” Gopi says.
“ You as well Gopi? I believe my best friend and I know she will not do anything wrong.” Amba says.
“ Have you forgot Amba, that Priyanka is Sindoora’s daughter?” Gopi says.
“ I have not forgot! But Priyanka accepted that whatever her mother did was wrong and she died because of her own fault.” Amba says. “ Please Gopi, I know what I am doing. Priyanka, I am sorry.”
“ It is alright. Maa did a lot of bad things to this family and Gopi must be very scared. But don’t worry Gopi, I have changed.” Priyanka says. “ I came back to Delhi to look for a bahu, but then I heard about poor Aunty and I came here.”
The men take away Malaika’s body. Ahem does his mother’s final rites. They return after doing the final rites. Varun and Priyanka are escorted to their room. At night, Priyanka opens her box and it has Sindoora’s ashes in a pot.
Flashback
Sindoora fell off the cliff after the earthquake. The Modis refused to do Sindoora’s last rites. The police give Sindoora’s body. Priyanka is sitting in her white saree along with her father in law Ansh (Mrunal Jain) and Varun. Priyanka is crying over her dead mother’s body.
“ Mama!” Screams Priyanka. Ansh comforts her. “ Look what those Modis did. They took away my mother!”
“ Priyanka calm down. The Modis will get their punishment.” Ansh says.
“ How papa? That Gopi and Rashi are too powerful. They defeated that Radha, Gaura and Mama. How could we defeat them? How?” Screams Priyanka.
“ You attack them in their weak point. You create a storm for them that they’ll never overcome it.” Ansh says. Whilst seeing her mother’s body burning in the pyre, Priyanka makes her vow.
“ I will destroy the Modis for my mother’s death. Sindoora Mehra might be gone but her ansh and her soul still lives within me. The way my mother is burning now, the same way the Modi family will burn. That is Priyanka Mehra’s promise to Mama’s soul. I promise you Mama that Gopi Modi will suffer.”
Present
“ Varun, I promised my mother’s soul that I will avenge her. I have kept her ashes with me for 5 years. Once the Modis are destroyed, I will put these ashes in the River Ganges.” Priyanka says. Priyanka gets the Modis’ family photo and burns it.
The next morning, Priyanka approaches Amba. “ Amba, I called the girl’s family straight away. They must be on their way.”
“ Yes sure Priyanka, Don’t worry. Soon, I will be looking for a bahu for my Adi.” Amba says. Doorbell rings. A low middle class family enter. The girl (Anju Tiwari) enters along with her parents.
“ Jaise Krishna Priyanka Behen.” The mother says.
“ Ha ha, jaise Krishna. Come.” Priyanka says. The girl’s family sit down on the sofa and Priyanka sits down to ask them questions.
“ Eh larki, what is your name?” Priyanka asks. Gopi is shocked by Priyanka’s attitude.
“ My name is Riya Sharma.” Riya says. Riya starts blushing.
“ Eh chukri, put your face up when you speak to me. Why are you shy?” Priyanka shouts. Riya gets afraid.
“ Priyanka, calm down.” Amba says.
“ I am a calm. So Mrs Sharma, what has your daughter studied?” Priyanka asks.
“ She has studied up to 12th standard. She has won so many awards. I am so proud of her.” Mrs Sharma replies.
“ Boyfriends?” Priyanka asks. The Sharmas are shell shocked.
“ What?” Mr Sharma asks.
“ Has she ever had any boyfriends? These days, girls have boyfriends and it is very common.” Priyanka giggles. Gopi fumes.
“ Priyanka, behave.” Gopi says.
“ No my daughter isn’t like this. She is very sanskaari. She only listens to her parents.” Mrs Sharma says.
“ Oh sanskaari.” Priyanka says. Priyanka gets up and pulls Riya’s hair.
“ What are you doing?” Mrs Sharma says.
“ I was checking if your daughter has fake hair. I was only inspecting her. These days, girl do these things. Anyways, you have had your snacks. Now leave, goodbye. Your ugly daughter is not good enough for my Varun.” Priyanka says. The Sharma family leave in embarrassment.
“ Priyanka, that girl was really good.” Gopi says.
“ Oh you just shut up Gopi. That girl maybe sanskaari but she isn’t nothing like Durga and Pari. I want a bahu to be strong willed and powerful like our family’s daughters.” Priyanka says. Suddenly, Daya enters. Priyanka is confused seeing her.
“ Daya, you? Come in.” Gopi says.
“ Daya, Radha’s stepdaughter? She has grown so much.” Priyanka says. “ Amba, I have a request from you and I will also ask Radha. Can Daya become my bahu?” Priyanka asks. Amba, Daya and Gopi are shocked.
“ Are you sure Priyanka? Do you think Daya is right for Varun?” Amba asks.
“ Yes, I can tell that she is the right choice for my Varun.” Priyanka says. Priyanka hugs Daya. “ What do you say Daya? Will you meet Varun and decide if you want to marry him?”
“ Ok aunty. I will meet him.” Daya replies.
“ That’s very good. I will inform him.” Priyanka says. Priyanka goes upstairs. She goes into Varun’s room.
“ Maa?” Varun says.
“ Listen to me. Your engagement is going to happen with Daya tomorrow. Do everything what I tell you.” Priyanka explains the whole plan.
It is the next day. Radha and Siddharth agree and Radha goes to Daya’s room. Daya isn’t in the room.
“ Daya? Where are you?” Radha says. Radha starts panicking as she searches the room. “ Gopi behen! Shes not here!” Gopi and everyone come.
“ Where could she be?” Gopi says.
Daya is shown in her lengha approaching an abandoned building. All the doors are blocked.
“ Oh no, how am I supposed to get inside?” Daya says. Daya sees a pipe and climbs on to it. She reaches the top and is shocked seeing a goon with Jaya, trying to molest her.
“ Leave my sister alone!” Shouts Daya. She grabs a metal stick and hits the goon.
“ Daya, why have you come to save me?” Jaya asks.
“ Di, Varun is still alive! He tricked us both. His mother Priyanka is our enemy. She used us to destroy our family.” Daya says. Jaya is shocked.
Flashback
Malaika is severely injured on the floor. Daya approaches her. “ Dadi? What happened to you? Who did this?”
“ Daya, please listen to me. Priyanka did this. Sindoora’s daughter. She sent her son to trick you and Jaya. Your sister has been used. Please expose Priyanka.”
Present
“ You are lying!” Jaya screams. Daya shows her a video footage of Priyanka and Varun talking. Jaya is stunned.
“ You believe me now? Come lets leave.” Daya grabs Jaya and they both run downstairs. They reach it outside. They are shocked seeing Priyanka. Gaura tune plays.
“ Wah! What beautiful relationship you sisters have?” Priyanka says.
“ You evil woman! You are the reason why I have hurt my own family.” Jaya shouts.
“ Yes I am the reason. I wanted you to finish the Modis but you failed. You failed to separate Raj and Rashi. You failed to kill Ahem’s love. You failed to ruin Heer’s life. So I am finishing this story.” Priyanka says.
“ Your truth will be out. I have evidence on my phone.” Daya says. Varun comes and smashes the phone.
“ What evidence?” Varun laughs. Jaya slaps him.
“ I loved you and you turned me against my own mother?” Jaya says. Varun fumes. Priyanka points the gun at Jaya.
“ This story ends here.” Priyanka says. She shoots the gun.
“ Jaya!” Screams Daya and she gets in front of her. The bullet hits Daya in the chest. Daya collapses.
“ Daya, no you cant die.” Jaya sobs. She holds her hands. “ I love you as my sister. I hated my own sister. How could I?”
“ No di, it isn’t your fault. It is all my fault. I misunderstood you. I wish you be a good person.” Jaya closes her eyes.
“ Daya.” Jaya sobs. “ I promise to be a good person. Please get up!” Priyanka throws the gun near Jaya. The police arrive and are shocked seeing Daya’s body.
“ Look, inspector, Jaya just killed her own sister.” Priyanka cries. Varun cries as well.
“ Jaya, you are a most wanted criminal. You have to come with us. You have committed a lot of big crimes.” The police officer says.
“ No she killed Daya. Believe me.” Jaya says.
“ We don’t believe you.” The police officer says. They put Jaya on handcuffs and take her away.
At the hospital, the doctor that examines Daya comes out and tells the Modis. “ Sorry, she is in coma.” Radha breaks down and starts crying.
At the jail, Priyanka and Varun visit Jaya. “ Hello, Jaya. Your sister is still alive. She is in coma. Which means she wont reveal my truth to anyone. Neither will you. This was my plan Jaya. I wanted Daya to learn the truth about me so she could save you. I wanted to trap you in this attempted murder case. You and Daya are finished. I used you both to ruin the Modis but you both failed. Now I will begin. I easily killed two birds with one stone. Now Gopi and Rashi’s turn.” Priyanka says.
“ I wont let you win Priyanka.” Jaya says. Priyanka laughs. Gaura tune plays.
“ You are behind bars. What will you do even if you escape? Because of me, nobody trusts you. You are alone.” Priyanka laughs and leaves. Priyanka receives a phone call from Gopi to meet her at the cliff.
At the cliff, she sees Gopi. “ Gopi, why have you called me here?”
“ Priyanka, I know your truth. I know you killed Malaika and you shot Daya. Daya told me everything before she went into coma. How could you?” Gopi shouts.
“ What did you do to my mother? You killed her. You murdered her!” Screams Priyanka.
“ Your mother was a murderer herself!” Screams Gopi. “ And you are just like her. You killed my maaji and I wont spare you. You made me suffer so much. My Ahem Ji suffered, you turned Jaya against her own family- it was all your fault.” Gopi holds out a gun and points it at Priyanka.
“ Gopi, what are you doing?” Priyanka asks.
“ Im going to end you here. You will die today.” Gopi says. Priyanka runs and grabs Gopi. They fight over the gun. Priyanka pushes Gopi and grabs the gun. Bhajan plays. Krishna idol is shown. Priyanka shoots Gopi multiple times.
At the Modi house, a storm happens. Everyone starts panicking. “ Aunty, Im scared. A big storm and Maa hasn’t come back.” Durga says to Amba.
“ Gopi will be fine. Im sure.” Amba says.
At the cliff, Priyanka grabs Gopi, who has been shot so many times. Gopi is gasping for breath. Gaura tune plays. “ Poor Gopi, I enjoy seeing you suffer like this. But I am afraid you have go. After your death, I will burn your precious family.” Priyanka throws Gopi off the cliff.
At midnight, the Modis are still waiting. The police arrive. Ahem opens the door. “ Excuse, Mr Ahem Modi? Is this your wife?” The police shows the photo of Gopi to him.
“ Yes why?” Ahem asks.
“ I am sorry but your wife is no more.” The police officer.
Precap- 10 years later, Amba and Ajay now rule the Modi house and Ahem is in coma after Gopi’s death. Rashi prays to Lord Krishna to bring a new woman into Ahem’s life. A glamourous woman is shown wearing a red sari. Someone shouts Devki.
