Daya goes the Modi house. Prem enters the Modi house, Daya quickly sorts out her hair. “ Hi Prem.”
“ Hi Daya, how are you?” Prem asks.
“ I am fine. Have you had a busy day at the office?” Daya says.
“ Yes, I am going to my room.” Prem says and goes upstairs. Daya is disappointed.
“ It will be so hard to convince Prem to marry me without that Gopi here.” Daya says to herself. Amba comes down and gets happy seeing Daya.
“ Oh my god, Daya its so nice to see you. Where is Radha? Didn’t she come with you?” Amba asks.
“ No Kaki, she is still upset about Jaya.” Daya says.
“ Oh I understand how she feels. I still cant believe you and Jaya are sisters. You’re so sanskaari and Jaya is a demon. She tried to kill Ahem. You know, you and Jaya remind me of Gopi and Radha, as I’ve been told that in her previous birth, Radha was the opposite of Gopi.” Amba says.
“ Oh really?” Daya says. Daya thinks that she is no different from Jaya. Both sisters are evil.
“ Yes. Well sit down. Have something to eat. I will bring some food.” Amba says. Daya sits down and Amba goes to the kitchen. Daya is frustrated and is unsure what to do.
In New York, Gopi, Rashi, Ahem, Raj, Heer and Jigar are about to go on a boat ride. “ Ahem Ji, are you sure this is safe?” Gopi asks.
“ Oh Gopi, why do you get scared all the time?” Rashi says.
“ Shush Rashi, don’t act so brave yourself. Don’t you remember when we were teenagers, you were so scared of rides at the amusement parks?” Gopi says.
“ I had to worry about you all the time Gopi. Ahem Jiju, did you know Gopi used to go to parties all the time? She used to be so sanskaari in her previous birth and then I was shocked when she became a modern party animal.” Laughs Rashi.
“ Ahem Ji, don’t listen to her. I didn’t know I was Gopi Modi in my previous birth. I lost all my memories then.” Gopi says.
“ Gopi Ji, tell me things about what Rashi used to do.” Raj asks. Rashi pinches him. “ Ow, why did you do that Rashi?”
“ Yes Rashi used to be so ill-mannered. She used to party with boys. There was this one boy called Deepak.” Gopi giggles.
“ Gopi! I told you many times, I never liked Deepak.” Rashi gets annoyed. They all laugh.
“ Rashi behen, I am joking.” Gopi says.
Jaya and Yamini are watching them. “ Let them have fun, I will ruin their happiness.” Jaya says.
“ What will you do?” Yamini asks.
“ Their deaths, what do you expect?” Jaya says and she explains the plan. “ Gopi almost killed me and I wont spare her this time.” Jaya and Yamini go to the harbour. Yamini tampers with the boat that the people will go on. She thinks that this boat will sink and everyone will die.
Jaya and Yamini join the queue for the boat. The operator lets Gopi and everyone on the boat. The boat gets full. Yamini and Jaya go on the other boat on their own as there were no other passengers.
“ Now watch Yamini how they die.” Laughs Jaya. Yamini and Jaya follow Gopi and everyone on their boats. Suddenly Jaya and Yamini’s boat gets uneasy.
“ Jaya, what are you doing? Why is the boat shaking?” Yamini says.
“ Oh you kamini, you tampered with the wrong boat. Were you trying to kill us both? I want to live!” Shouts Jaya.
“ Why are you blaming me? I don’t know about these things.” Yamini says.
“ Because you are a duffer! I will strangle you before we sink!” Screams Jaya, she grabs Yamini and they both fall in the river.
Gopi and everyone are enjoying themselves. “ Ahem Ji, I want to see the statute of liberty after this. And I want to go to Broadway to see a play.” Gopi says.
“ Gopi Jr, have you ever asked my son and bahu what they want?” Raj says.
“ Oh sorry Heer and Jigar. We are ruining your honeymoon. Tell you what, why don’t you both go and have dinner? Itll be fun.” Gopi asks.
“ Sure, I get to spend time with Heer as well.” Jigar says.
“ Yh you never spend time with me.” Heer says.
“ That is because I am always working hard at office for you.” Jigar says and he kisses Heer on the cheek. Heer blushes.
Malaika is leaving the Modi house. “ Amba, Kumari has gone to her in laws. I am going shopping with my friends.” Malika says.
“ Ok Kaki Ji, I am just watching TV.” Amba says. In the evening, after Malaika’s friends leave, Malika is on her own. She decides to go to the temple and she prays there.
“ Kahna Ji, please protect my family.” Malika says. Suddenly, she hears a familiar voice and turns around. She is shocked to see Priyanka (Rashmi Desai) and a boy (Rohan Mehra). Priyanka was wearing a green suit embraided with gold designs and green veil. Malaika listens to their conversation.
“ Varun, everything is going to plan. Jaya has become the Modis biggest enemies and Daya will soon torment the Modis as well. My mother died because of Gopi Modi and I wont spare Gopi Modi. I suffered for 5 years after my mother’s death. I have had no mother’s love from anyone.” Priyanka says. Malaika is shocked hearing this. Greyscale effect and dramatic tune plays.
“ Don’t worry Mom. Not long left until you finish off what Dadi started.” Varun says. Malika is stunned knowing that Varun was still alive and he was Priyanka’s son.
“ Priyanka!” Shouts Malaika. Varun and Priyanka turn around and are stunned seeing Malaika. Malaika tries to slap Priyanka but Priyanka holds her hand.
“ Don’t you dare Malaika.” Priyanka says. Vamp tune plays. “ Your family has hurt me a lot. I remember when I used to sit on mama’s lap and she would tell me stories. She used to make my favourite food and she pampered me. But all of that is gone. She died because of you Modis!” Cries Priyanka.
“ Your mother was a naagin. She tried to ruin all our lives! She died because of her sins. And also, remember that Bagwan himself caused her death through that earthquake because your mother was so evil!” Malaika shouts.
“ Don’t you dare talk ill of my mother!” Priyanka shouts.
“ Don’t you have any shame? You sent your own son to cause problems between Jaya, Daya and Radha to trouble us all? You ruined all of our lives?” Malaika says. Priyanka laughs evilly.
“ Im impressed with Jaya. I sent my son to manipulate her. I knew she was capable of destroying your family. But now its my turn.” Priyanka says.
“ I wont let you win Priyanka!” Shouts Malaika.
“ We will see.” Priyanka says. “ Varun grab her. Let’s kill her before she reveals our truth.” Varun grabs Malaika but Malaika bites his hand and runs away.
Malaika is running down the road. She sees a phone box. She goes inside the phone box. She calls Modi house. “ Amba, listen to me. You have to save me. I’m near the market. They will kill me.” Malaika cries.
“ Kaki Ji, who is trying to kill you?” Amba asks.
“ I cant explain now…” Malaika says. Suddenly car comes crashing into the phone box.
“ Kaki Ji? The phone cut off.” Amba says. She starts panicking. She runs to the market and is shocked seeing Malaika being carried by medics into the ambulance. “ Kaki ji, can you tell me what happened to her?”
“ A car drove into this phone box and severely injured her. We need to do some check ups on her.” The medics says. Amba goes with them in the ambulance.
Amba calls Krishna, Ajay and Prem. They arrive. “ Wheres Malaika, is she fine?” Krishna cries.
“ The doctor hasn’t come out yet.” Amba sobs.
“ Amba, how could you be so foolish letting her out on her own?” Ajay says.
“ I didn’t know this would happen. The medics told me a car drove into the phone box. She called me before saying someone was trying to kill her.” Cries Amba.
“ What dushmani could someone have with Dadi?” Prem says.
“ Jaya, only she would do something like this. Let me call the police.” Prem says. Priyanka and Varun are listening.
“ See Varun? Now Jaya will be imprisoned and then Daya will begin her torture on the Modis.” Priyanka says. Priyanka and Varun are disguised as nurse and doctor.
Gopi and everyone get a call about Malaika’s accident. Everyone leave for India except Jigar and Heer, who stay for their honeympoon. Gopi, Ahem, Raj and Rashi arrive at the hospital.
“ Where is Maaji?” Gopi asks Amba. “ Why didn’t you protect her?” Priyanka and Varun sneak into Malaika’s ward room. Priyanka injects poison into Malaika
“ Sleep tight buddhi.” Priyanka says. Malaika’s vitals start depleting and she has problems breating. Varun and Priyanka sneak out of the ward room. The doctor enters the ward room and is shocked seeing Malaika’s state.
“ Nurse! The patient’s health is dropping!” The doctor shouts. The nurse comes.
“ Doctor, I don’t think she has enough time. Call her family now!” The nurse says. The Modis and Rashi and Raj come into the ward room.
“ I only need to speak to Gopi, that’s it.” Malaika says. Gopi holds her motherin law’s hands.
“ Tell me Maaji.” Gopi says.
“ Promise me Gopi that you will always protect this family. You will never let this family live through misery. I am giving you the responsibility after my death. When your grandchildren are born, you will become the new Baa and head of this family. You will protect this family like your Maaji Kokila Dadi did.” Malaika says.
“ No Maaji, you will survive.” Gopi cries.
“ Malaika, what are you saying? You cant leave us.” Cries Krishna.
“ I know I could never be like Kokila Dadi. I could never be a strong saas like her but I always loved you and everyone in this family. Goodbye.” Malaika says.
“ Maaji, tell me who did this?” Gopi asks but it was too late. She was dead.
Precap- During Malaika’s funeral, Priyanka enters along with Varun, into the Modi house.
