Nighttime arrived. Gaura made sure that everyone was asleep and left the mansion. She wanted to go and see Bhavani. She knew that during the night no one would disturb her or find out about her secrets.
And so, when she left the house she called Radhika.
“Jai Ambe Radhika, I am coming to see Bhavani now.” Gaura said. “Is she awake?”
“Yes. She still hasn’t fallen asleep. We are waiting for you. I will tell her that you are coming.”
“Alright. See you soon then.”
“And Gaura ended the call, and Radhika said to Bhavani.
“Your dear friend Gaura is now coming to see you.”
“I don’t want to see her.” Bhavani replied.
“And why? Are you afraid that she will probably torture you?”
“No, I am not. I just don’t want to talk with her. And for how long do you think to keep me here?”
“For as long as Gaura wants.”
And Gaura arrived.
“Jai Ambe Bhavani.” She said. “How are you? Does Radhika take care for you?”
“Gaura behen, what do you want with me? Why have you decided to keep me here and why did you kidnap me from prison?”
“Because there I couldn’t torture you freely for someone could’ve been able to see us. But now no one will stop me from torturing you.”
“Listen, Gaura behen, enough is enough! I know that you are mad at me for betraying you but just, stop with your drama! I love Dharamji and you will never change that!”
“But he doesn’t care about you Bhavani. And I didn’t kidnap you because you love him but because you abandoned me. Now you must do something for me otherwise I will put an end to your life right here and now.”
“Really? And what must I do?”
“The Modis know about your disappearance and they are worried for you. Tomorrow, I will take you to the Modi mansion and you will tell them that everything is alright with you and you just wanted to be in peace for a while.”
“And why should I do that? Wait, let me guess. They have probably began to suspect you and you are afraid, right?”
“tthat’s none of your business. You will just do what I tell you if you want to keep living. And be thankful to the Modis, I have to set you free because of them. But I hope that the time you spend here has taught you some lessons. For example, you must never ever mess with me the wrong way because there are always consequences. And be thankful that you will leave this place alive, not many of my victims have such luck.”
The morning arrived and Bhavani had to do as she was ordered. She was happy that at least she wouldn’t be kept at that abandoned place.
And next, Gaura took Bhavani to the Modi mansion as planned.
“Kokila, see who is coming with me?” Gaura said.
And they were surprised. They didn’t want to see Bhavani, for she had troubled them a lot as well.
“Bhavani, what has happened with you?” Kokila asked. “Is it true that Gaura kidnapped you?”
Everyone was shocked by this statement and especially Gaura.
“I mean to say that yesterday Rathna was here. She expressed her concerns that Bhavani may have been kidnapped by Gaura. Bhavani, tell us what really happened?”
“Kokila behen, Rathna has lied to you.” Bhavani said. “Gaura behen didn’t kidnap me, she just found me today. I wanted to spend some time with myself and that’s why I isolated myself from the world for a few days. And yes, I was really released from jail earlier than planned. So don’t worry about me, I am fine.”
“See?” Gaura then said. “I told you I will find Bhavani. And I did.”
And then, Bhavani was allowed to leave.
“I will make her regret this humiliation!” Bhavani thought. “I will find a way to expose Gaura in front of everyone! I am sure she is playing a game with the Modis again. I will find out more about it and will then tell them everything, even how she made me lie today. Now I have to warn the Suryavanshi family about Gaura. That will be one more reason to see Dharamji.”
But Bhavani didn’t know that she was being followed. Sindoora was right behind her.
And in a short time Bhavani arrived in front of the Suryavanshi mansion. She was welcomed by Vidya.
“Jai Ambe Vidyaji, I want to tell you something, it’s very important!”
“What are you doing here, Bhavani? How do you even dare to come here again?”
“Listen, I need to talk to you. Gaura has something in mind for you.”
“What? Baaji is in prison, isn’t she?”
“No, she is not. She got released yesterday and is surely planning something for you so be careful.”
“I don’t believe you. Why have you came here to warn us against her when you are the same? You are like baaji so don’t pretend to care for us.”
“You are right. I don’t care about anyone of you except Dharamji. Gaura behen may decide to harm him.”
“There’s no such mother that will ever hurt her child.”
“No, you don’t understand, Gaura behen is different. She is ready to sacrifice even her son if that will be to her advantage.”
“I don’t want to listen to you, go away now!”
“Fine. But consider listening to my words on time. Otherwise it might be too late.”
And while Bhavani and Vidya were talking, Sindoora phoned Gaura.
“Gaura, Bhavani is trying to warn Vidya about you.” She said.
“Really? And how so?”
“She told Vidya that you have been released from prison yesterday and you surely have something in your mind against your family. Bhavani said that she cares only for Dharam and she thinks you are planning on a way to hurt him.”
“Well. Thanks for sharing that information.”
“What should we do with Bhavani now?”
“You will keep an eye on her, just like you do with Rathna.”
“Alright. But now I should get back to the Modis in case they need me. I will keep an eye on Rathna and Bhavani, do not worry.”
And while Bhavani was trying to warn the Suryavanshis against Gaura, Rathna was still determined to expose the murderer of her sister in front of the Modis. She decided to go to the Modi mansion again. She hoped she would be able to talk to someone else and not Kokila.
And when she arrived, this time Gopi opened the door for her.
“Jai Shree Krishna.” Gopi said. “What takes you here, Rathna? Please, come in.”
Rathna got in and Gopi closed the door.
“Gopiji, I am seriously worried about the safety of your family.” Rathna began.
“But why?”
“Well, because Gaura now lives with you. I tried talking to Kokila behen about this but she refused to listen to me. I am sure that Gaura is playing a game with you. I am sure she has some hidden intentions and hasn’t changed at all.”
“You are right, Rathna. I am also thinking about that. I tried talking to maaji but she denies listening to me either.”
“What should we do then?”
“Let’s team up against Gaura. That’s the only way we will be able to defeat her.”
“Of course we will team up against her. She killed my dear Chanda and I will never forgive her for that. I want to take revenge for my sister!”
“Alright, Rathna. So are we together against Gaura?”
“Yes, we are. But what should be our next step?”
“We will try finding evidence that she is really playing a game with my family?”
And while Gopi and Rathna were talking, Sindoora, as always, was reporting everything to Gaura.
“The situation got pretty serious, Gaura. We must do something immediately. Rathna and Bhavani are a serious threat for your plan.”
“It looks like Rathna really misses her sister Chanda and wants to see her.” Gaura said. “If she wants it so strongly, then I will make her meet Chanda. In the other world.”
