The next day arrived. Bhavani was waiting for Gaura to come. She was ready to try and win overher, no matter what.
And as she was waiting, suddenly Gaura came in.
“Good morning, Bhavani.” She said. “How are you today? Oh, I see. You are not fine, because you know that today is your last day on this world.”
“No, Gaura behen, please, don’t do it. I will do whatever you want but just, let me go and you will never see me again, I promise. You want the Suryavanshi mansion back, right? Fine, I will give it to you. But just let me go, I don’t want to die yet!”
“Bhavani, the mansion is already mine. You know, I can imitate your handwriting very well and so, I signed the documents instead of you and now the mansion is mine again. So, don’t try to make me forgive you. When someone plays unfairly with me, there’s no turning back. Now tell me, do you have any last wish?”
“I will not die, understand? You will not kill me, Gaura Suryavanshi! I will not let you hurt me, now be ready for my revenge!”
And then, Bhavani suddenly untied herself and quickly escaped through the door. Gaura got very surprised, but she had no time to be shocked. She immediately went after Bhavani and was determined to catch her and end her life.
“Where do you think you will go, Bhavani!”
But Bhavani succeeded to hide in the near by forest. Gaura had no other choice but to follow her. She was carefully looking around to find Bhavani. She would not let her get away. Gaura was never forgiving her victims.
One hour later. Bhavani began to get tired of running and decided to stop for a few minutes. But Gaura wasn’t tired at all. She quickly caught up with Bhavani and finally found her.
“I finally found you!” Gaura said. “You made me tired but, I finally succeeded. Did you really think you could escape? I am Gaura Suryavanshi, and wen I decide to find someone, they can’t hide from me, no matter where they go. Until now, no victim of mine has succeeded to get away from my revenge, and you will not make an exception.
“Gaura behen, please, stop it!” Bhavani said, attempting to safe her life for the last time. “I apologize to you for everything, I will follow your orders again, I will do anything you ask for but just, let me go! I will not tell anyone about what you did to me, I promise, I will not try sending letters to the Modis ever again!”
“I don’t believe you! You know that if someone unites with me, they must stay until the end or they die. That’s it!”
And then, Gaura started dragging Bhavani towards the near by lake. Poor Bhavani was crying, but that would not help her. Gaura dragged her to the lake and pushed her in the deep water. And in a few seconds Bhavani could not be seen, for the water had taken her deep down.
“The water is very cold and she will die soon.” Gaura thought. “I finally took revenge on her for betraying me. That’s what happens when you betray Gaura Suryavanshi. Bhavani wanted to expose me and she paid with her life.”
And then, Gaura went away from the place.
The night arrived. Gaura could finally sleep without worrying about Bhavani’s attempts to expose her. She would soon take revenge from the other members of the Suryavanshi family. Now that she owned the house again, she could do whatever she wanted. But first, she wanted to do something else. She burnt all the belongings of Bhavani, and this way no one would come look for her there.
But there was stil one person that did not believe all this drama and that was Kokila. She was determined to find out the truth from Gaura.
And so, Kokila went to the mansion in time when she was sure Gaura would be alone, for she wanted to have a private conversation with her.
“Gaura, I must talk to you now!” She said.
“What is it, Kokila? Where is your Gopi bahu, why didn’t you take her with you? Aren’t you afraid I may do something to you? You still don’t believe that I have changed, I know.”
“Yes, I don’t believe you. And there’s a reason for that. Tell me, what happened with Bhavani. What did you do to her?”
“
“Why should I do something to her?”
“Because I know you very well. When you feel threatened by someone, you take away their life. I know you will never change and I am sure that Bhavani will never decide to go away on her own. Tell me the truth, now!”
“Do you really want to know what happened with Bhavani? Come with me then, I will show you.”
“Where are we going, Gaura?”
“Come with me, I said!”
And next, Kokila followed Gaura. She took her to the same lake where she killed Bhavani.
“Look at this lake.” Gaura said. “Bhavani is in there. I pushed her there and she drowned. Just imagine it how she has felt in that terribly cold water.”
“What a person are you, Gaura?” Kokila said in anger. “You had killed Bhavani, even her! What did she do to you, tell me!”
Kokila then raised her hand to slap Gaura but she quickly backed away.
“She turned against me, that’s why I killed her!” Gaura then said. “And don’t ever try doing this again! Don’t ever try to slap me or you will join Bhavani in the other world.”
“You can’t kill me, Gaura. You will not dare doing it, for my family will punish you harshly.”
“Really? Do you think I am afraid of your family? And if you are really sure I will not dare to hurt you, let’s see then!”
And next, Gaura caught Kokila by her hair and just like Bhavani, she started dragging her towards the water.
“Gauraaa, stop it!” Kokila shouted.
But Gaura did not listen. She dragged Kokila to the beginning of the lake.
“Am I afraid now, Kokila?” Gaura said and looked her in the eyes. Eyes that showed only and only look of terror.
“What are you doing?” Kokila said.
“It will take me a few minutes to drown you my friend. And I will make it look like an accident. They will find you together with Bhavani and people will think that you have accidentally fallen in there. But if you promise that you will keep my secret forever, I will let you go. Do not ever tell anyone that you know the real reason about Bhavani’s death. Otherwise not only you but your whole family will suffer for the rest of your life.”
Kokila, as always, was ready to do anything for her family.
“Fine, Gaura. I will not tell anything to my family or someone else. Please, stop this and let me go!”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. No one will ever know about what happened between me and you today.”
“Alright. Go then. And remember, only one word from you and we will come back to this lake again. And this time, you will feel how cold the water actually is.”
And then, they both went away from the place. Kokila really kept silent about the events of that day and she never told anyone about her experiences. Gaura made Meera, Vidya, Dharam and Shravan leave the house and she owned everything again. She was the winner again. And she always would be.
