Vidya was very sad by all that happened. She and Priyal went to the Modi mansion where Gopi and Kokila welcomed her.
“Jai Shree Krishna Vidya.” Gopi said. “We are so happy to see you and Priyal here, but you don’t seem fine at all. Is there something wrong?”
“Maa.” Vidya cried. “Bhavani forced us to leave the mansion. And there’s more, Gaura baaji came back from prison a few days ago. She has been released 2 years earlier. She tried protecting us but even she could not stop Bhavani.”
“What?” Kokila then said. “Gaura is back! Vidya, please, don’t tell me that she has protected you! She is the same Gaura, I am 100 percent sure. She has not changed at all.”
“No, I think she has changed. Something about her seemed different and… She apologized to us and promised not to harm us anymore.”
“I will have to see for myself.”
“Where are you going, maaji?” Gopi asked.
“I will meet with Gaura. I want to see if she has really changed or not. I strongly doubt it.”
“No, maaji, don’t go to her alone, I will come with you.”
“Alright, let’s go. And you Vidya, don’t worry about it, all will be fine, Kanhaji will help us. By the way, how is Meera?”
“She is trying to be fine.” Vidya replied. “Bhavani treats her really badly but my sister is trying to survive.”
And sometime later, Gopi and Kokila arrived at the Suryavanshi house. They rang the doorbell and Bhavani was the first to open. When Gopi saw her, she couldn’t control herself and directly confronted her.
“How dare you?” Gopi said. “How dare you made my Vidya get out of here? Who are you to take decisions regarding the members of this family?”
“Gopiji, please listen to me.” Bhavani said. “Actually, I did not want to put Vidya in such a situation but…”
And exactly when Bhavani made her first attempt to expose Gaura, Gaura appeared in front of them.
“Jai Ambe, Kokila Gopi.” She said. “I am so happy to meet you after so many years. You know, living in jail is not easy.”
“Everyone gets what they deserve, Gaura.” Kokila replied. “You had to spend some time there in order to learn how to behave properly with people. Although, your crimes are so many that no god will forgive your sins. But if you feel really sorry and you want to change, it’s never to late to do it.”
“Yes, I really feel sorry. If you forgive me, let’s be friends again. I apologize to your whole family for all the trouble. But you know what, I feel a little upset. Why didn’t you came to see me in jail? You know how I visited you when you was there. Or maybe you don’t remember?”
“Maasiji, if you have really changed we forgive you.” Gopi said. “But now we want to talk with Bhavani. Vidya came to us and told us everything. How Bhavani had kicked her out of here and how you have tried to help her. Bhavani, I am warning you, you better learn how to behave otherwise, I will teach you a lesson.”
“Gopiji, I am not your daughter’s enemy but someone else is.”
“Listen, Bhavani.” Kokila then said. “Don’t try to excuse yourself and don’t put your blame on other people. You have kicked Vidya out but she will return here. Shravan needs his wife and Priyal needs her father so, we will put an end to your games and will get Vidya and Priyal back here. You must know that.”
Bhavani remained silent. Her attempts to expose Gaura were unsuccessful. Now that she has broken her promise not to try to trick Gaura, she began to feel scared for her life. And she couldn’t be more right…
“Don’t worry, Kokila, I will teach her a lesson.” Gaura said. “Now do you believe me that I have really changed?”
“Only time will show if you are telling the truth, Gaura. Now we will go. And you, Bhavani, be careful. Don’t misbehave with Meera or you will see my bad side.”
And then the two women went away and Gaura and Bhavani were alone.
“How dare you?” Gaura said and slapped Bhavani. “I warned you not to try to expose me, did not I?”
“I will expose you if you don’t give me the evidence you have! And don’t ever try to slap me again, Gaura behen, or things for you will get really, really worse!”
“You can’t do anything to me.”
“Really? Then why did you get afraid of my attempts to expose you?”
“Because if Kokila and her bahu begin to have doubts about me, they will not trust me. And their mistrust will fail my plans.”
“Oh, so you have plans of torturing the Modis as well?”
“That’s none of your business. Did you forget that now you are under my control? You shall obey my orders or…”
“Or I will go to prison, I know. But if you don’t destroy the evidence I will tell Kokila behen about your dirty plans. Who will lose the most, me or you? I will spend some time in prison and will get released. But you? You will lose the Modi family’s trust again, and your plans of tormenting them will not work. So, you have more to lose. Give me what I need or I will force you. You can’t imagine what things I can do to you, Gaura behen!”
“You also can’t imagine what will happen to you if you don’t stop your plans of exposing me. I warn you for the last time, do not try to do this again. If, however, you choose to disobey me again, I will make you meet death and the experience while you are dying will not be pleasant at all. Remember my words. The next time you try to do something like that, think of my warnings.”
A few hours later, night arrived. Bhavani however, was determined to expose Gaura in front of the Modis. Tomorrow, she would try to talk with them without Gaura noticing. But what Bhavani didn’t know was that, all her moves were strictly followed by Gaura and she wouldn’t stay unnoticed.
And when the morning arrived, Bhavani quickly ate some breakfast and left the house. She quickly went to the Modis, thinking that she had escaped Gaura. But she was right behind her.
And so, Kokila allowed Bhavani to get into the house. The Modis weren’t happy to see her, but they wanted to hear what she has to say anyway.
“Kokila behen, please, listen to me carefully.” Bhavani began.
“What is it, Bhavani?” Kokila replied. “Why are you here in such an early time of the morning? And why should we listen to your lies again?”
“No, I am not going to lie. I want to tell you the truth about what happened the other day.”
And in the meantime Gaura was listening.
“Fine, tell us what happened that day.” Gopi then said.
“Well, Gaura behen ordered me to kick Vidya out of the house. She said Vidya is one of the reasons for her entrance in jail and wanted to take revenge on her. Please, believe me, I am not lying. Gaura behen wasn’t truthful with you when she told you she has changed. She has not changed at all, and she is even more evil than before”
“You are going to pay for these words, Bhavani!” Gaura thought. “Just wait and watch!”
“And how can we make sure that you are not trying to put the blame on Gaura?” Gopi asked.
“Why would I? Gopiji, you maybe know Gaura better than I do. So you should know that she will never change, no matter how many times she goes in jail. Please, take my words seriously and be careful. She has plans to destroy you as well but I know nothing about them, unfortunately.”
“I knew it!” Kokila said. “I knew that Gaura is still the same! I will take care of her!”
“No, Kokila behen, please, don’t confront her or things for me will get very bad! Don’t tell her that you know this information from me, please don’t!”
“Don’t worry, Bhavani. She will not understand that we know the truth from you. Thanks for telling us all that.”
“I am thankful that you listened to me. I was afraid you would not believe me. Thank you so much.”
Bhavani finally felt a little relieved. She was happy that her plan has worked and now, there was someone else who was aware of Gaura’s intentions. She left the Modi house and as she was about to go back home, she felt someone pulling her hair. Try to guess who it was..
