Episode kick starts with the scene in the police station. Kokila inside a cell. Others ‘ Modi Men folk – outside with muddled thoughts and suggestions as to what to do next to get Kokila released. Police Inspector comes over to say nothing much could be done as the alleged charged offence is serious. Ahem gets upset and tries to start an argument with the Inspector. Jigar’s Dad intervenes and calms down Ahem, then takes the Inspector away.
In the Modi home. Women folk are upset and saddened by the turn of events. Cannot fathom the fact that Kokila is in Police custody. During that time Urmilaa makes her entry. On Raashi’s reminder that Urmilaa’s barred entry to the Modi home, Urmilaa responds that she ‘ Urmilaa ‘ needs to support her family in their hour of difficulties.
At the station : Kokila tells the Nurse, who is in the same cell, that she, Kokila is innocent and will be out soon. That the Nurse has erred for whatever reasons best known to the Nurse.
At the Modi Home : Urmilaa feels bit guilty when all others speak in favour of Kokila and of her innocence. That Kokila would be out soon, before the holy function, and the guilty would be found out and taken to task. Urmilaa face shows her rather guilty type emotion. Then Urmilaa takes control of the situation by saying all the women to rest, Raashi, Gopi, Baa and Hetal.
Urmilaa’s thoughts ; that she would lord over the Modi family and Home. She hopes that never to get caught and Kokila spends rest of her days in jail.
At the Police station the scene is pretty much the same, Gopi and Ahem having a Cellular talk about the no progress situation.
Somewhere in between ; Kinjal with her mother. Saddened and teary eyed Kinjal is being consoled by Kokila.
Kokila ought to be consoled ! ! !
Gopi at the Modi Home, her sharp brain is at work and is feeding Meera ; Meera accidently knock down Urmilaa’s purse. Gopi while picking the purse finds some papers which leads Gopi to understand that Urmilaa is behind the foetuss*x determination test and is the culprit. There is also a flash back scene of Gopi having seen few happenings at the hospital.
Gopi confronts Urmilaa and Urmilaa in her usual style threatens Gopi with dire consequences. But Gopi is steadfast and is unfazed . Says that her Maaji is in police custody, that she needs to reveal the truth – to release her Maaji.
Urmilaa pleads but Gopi is undeterred and says she will do the right thing even if Urmilaa needs to go to Jail, which Urmilaa deserves, For Urmilaa committed a serious crime, and it cannot be pardoned.
Nikki and Savita visit Kokila at the police station cell and sarcastically speak to Kokila about her hard times and being in police custody. They give grains and grinding stone to while away her time. Kokila takes those two things and is silent throughout.
And Episode Ends on Kokila’s face ! ! !
