Sagar is brought to court as evidence. Opponent lawyer says Sagar is a terrorist group member and was caught from Anant’s house, asks Sagar if Anant is their gang member. Sagar says Anant is their gang member. Judge asks Anant if he can prove that Sagar is lying. He says Dr Srivastav can prove it and has many proofs to prove it. Judge adjourns court for the day and says the next hearing will be one day before Diwali. Anant is arrested and taken in police van. Sagar acts as Anant’s close friend and murmurs in his ears if he saw his drama, he should now wait for professor Kumar’s big dhamaka. Professor Kumar explains his plan of bomb blast at an auditorium where chief minister and others VVIPs will be present for diwali celebration and says he will be out of country and Anant will be punished hanged, Desai family will have to mourn Anant’s death for real this time.
Gehna meets Anant in jail and cries hugging him. Anant asks her to stop crying as its not allowed for her. She says she will not. He asks how is family, especially mom and dad, everyone must have shattered seeing court drama. She says nobody is shattered and they will celebrate his victory soon; she needs to find Dr. Srivastav first as his evidence will prove him innocent. Anant says he is confused why Siya backed out of case while she and Srivastav always helped him. She says he need not worry as she will find out the reason. Constable informs that meeting time is over and takes Anant away.
Gehna meets Siya and questions why did she backed out of case and risked Anant’s life, she forgot Anant’s friendship and betrayed him. Siya acts first and then cries and tells that her brother Srivastav is missing, goons took her at gunpoint and threatened her to back out of case. Gehna asks her not to worry as they both will search Srivastav. Siya gets Srivastav’s call and stands shocked. She with Gehna rushes to a house and shatters seeing Srivastav’s dead body with gunshot wound. Inspector calls ambulance and asks Siya to move aside. Siya hugs her brother and doesn’t let them take his body away. Gehan consoles her. Doctor’s team enter and takes Srivastav’s body away. In jail, constable offers food to Anant and says a weak person cannot fight for himself. Anant thinks Gehna must be hungry and searching Srivastav.
