Baa coughs. Gehna rushes to her and says she will bring her water, asks why didn’t her cough stop yet. Baa says her medicine is over and she has sent Bapuji to bring medicine. Gehna informs that she got a job. Kanak asks in surprise how did she get job and where. Pankaj says he will drop her to her office. Gehna says she will go alone. Baa offers her prasad and blesses her. Radhika wishes her best of luck. She walks out of house and seeing the bike remembers Anant surprising her before wedding, then leaves for her work. Kanak tells Pankaj that he and Chetan are searching a job and didn’t get one even after having degrees, but Gehna without completing her studies got a job. Bapuji returns home with blackened face and wobbly gait. Family rushes to him worried, and Baa asks who blackened his face. He apologizes her for unable to bring her medicine as people didn’t let him and said he is a traitor’s father and doesn’t deserve to live. Gehna returns and hearing him thinks people who humiliated him will fall on his feet after knowing the truth. Baa asks Bapuji not to worry as Gehna got a job in lawyer’s office and will solve their problems. Gehna returns to her work place and works as a maid at a rich lady’s house, mopping floor. Lady asks her to work properly as she boasted while getting job and clean store room next. Gehna enters store room to clean it and slips on ladder. Anant holds her. She asks if he returned. He says he had to as she is not taking care of herself. He makes her sit and twists her leg to remove her sprain. She shouts in pain after falling down and realizes she was imagining about Anant. Lady walks in and asks why did she shout. Gehna says she slipped and fell. Lady asks if she will take leave with this excuse. Gehna says she will continue her work. Radhika calls her and informs that she found a lawyer to fight Anant’s case, she should trust her this time. Gehna says she trusts her. Radhika says she will take tomorrow’s appointment for meeting the lawyer. After finishing all the work, Gehna walks to lady and requests advance citing family problem. Lady says she can’t. Gehna says that she will come a bit late tomorrow. Lady yells and asks reason. Gehna thinks she cannot tell her about meeting the lawyer tomorrow. Gehna requests. Lady permits.
Baa with family waits for Gehna to have dinner. Kanak complains that they have only dal chawal and not other dishes. Tia says grocer is not giving them grocery, so they should adjust with whatever they have. Gehna returns home. Baa excitedly asks if she talked to the lawyer. She then says let us eat first. Gehna says she will go and freshen up. Kanak thinks why Gehna was in a dilapidated state, something is wrong. Bapuji asks baa not to inform Gehna what happened with him today. Gehna walks to Anant’s telescope and remembers his words. Baa walks to her room and asks if she is missing Anant. Gehna gets emotional and says she is angry on Anant that he left her alone and didn’t inform where he went, when will he return. Baa says even she doesn’t know and cries. Lady calls Gehna and orders to report to work early tomorrow. Gehna informs Baa and says she will finish household work soon and then will go to office. Baa says she will help her.
Next morning, Baa helps Gehna in kitchen. Kanak walks to her and says even she wants to help her. Baa ignores her. Kanak apologizes her for talking about partition and says even she wants to work and support family and has fixed a meeting with client for whom they had stitched clothes for. Baa agrees and says they will take Hema along. Kanak smirks. They all 3 reach lady’s house where Gehna is working as a maid. Gehna gets tensed seeing them and hides her face with her dupatta. Lady asks her to serve water to guests. Gehna gets more tensed.
Precap: Gehna disguised as cab driver catches Sagar. Car crashes onto a tree and Gehna falls down. Sagar beats her.
