During dinner, Hema waits for Kanak to join them. Kanak joins family and says she was making grocery list for Karvachauth fast tomorrow; she thinks that Gehna should fast for Srivastav’s long life and if she had kept fast for Ananth, he would have been alive with them. Srivastav says his family is modern and doesn’t believe in fasts. Gehna says she will fast for her husband. Anand/Sid thinks Gehna will fast for him. Kanak asks Siya to fast for Sid. Siya says she will try. Baa says tomorrow’s karvachauth will bring a festival environment again in their house. Sagar disguised as a female maid Kalavati thinks everyone will be looking at moon and he will look at Gehna.

Srivastav confronts Sid that its getting overboard. Sid says Gehna will fast for him;

he is tensed as husband and wife perform many rituals, how will Gehna perform rituals with him; Gehna is under someone’s pressure. In another room, Sagar laughs that he knew Gehna will agree to fast. Kanak says she wouldn’t have helped him if he didn’t have her audio and asks about his plan. He says he will perform a dhamaka. She thinks that Sagar is surely planning something dangerous. Gehna cries remembering Anant. Krishna walks to her and asks how did she agree for wedding suddenly. She says she can’t tell him the reason now and she is sure Anant will break her fast.

Next morning, Bapuji gifts karvachauth gift to Baa. Baa asks all boys if they brought gifts for their wives. Chetan and Pankaj gift Hema and Kanak, Krishna gifts Tia, and Sid gifts a bracelet to Siya. Srivastav gifts a chain to Gehna. Gehna hesitates, but accepts it when baa asks her to. Srivastav asks Sid that he brought gift for Gehna and gifted it via him, will she wear it. Sid says she will for sure. Gehna thinks she will wear it only if Anant makes her wear it. She imagines Aannt fixing it in her neck. Kabhi Mujhe Der Jo Hojaye…song plays in the background. She happily hugs him and realizes its her imagination. In another room, Tia gets happy seeing Krishna’s gifted anklet. Krishna enters and makes her wear the anklet. Ke Raatan Lambiya Lambiya re.. song plays in the background.

At night, Desai family gathers in garden to break karvachath fast. Baa asks about Gehna. Gehna walks in looking at Sid/Anant. Kanak sees Sagar/Kalavati and walks to him and asks what is she doing here instead of cooking in kitchen. Baa recites Devi Savitri’s story and why every woman keeps Karva maa’s vrat/fast and performs a ritual. Hema feels hungry and goes to kitchen to check. Gehna sheds tears thinking Anant has to break her fast today. Sid walks to her and asks her to have dry fruit if she is feeling hungry. Gehna asks not to joke on her fast. Siya walks to him and says let us click a pic together. He clicks selfie with her. Gehna gets jealous and says his friend is calling him. Srivastav walks to him. Gehna leaves. Siya says Gehna got jealous seeing her with Sid, that is called true love.

Hema walks into kitchen and scolds Kalavati/Sagar to prepare pakoras and remaining feast soon. Sagar throws ladle down and it falls on Hema. Kanak walks in. Hema says she knows who Kalavati is. Kanak and Sagar get tensed. Hema says Kalavati is kamchor/lazy who is unfit to work. Kanak takes her out. Sagar thinks he came to spy on Sid and is stuck in kitchen instead. Gehna walks inside home. Sid follows her and jokes with her. She walks away fuming. Sid then sees maid watching him. Sagar gets afraid and tries to run away. Sid asks him to stop and runs behind him. Sagar’s wig falls down.

Precap: Gehna cross-legs Sid and makes him fall. He confronts her and calls her stupid. She says he looks stupid with earrings and ponytail like girls. He throws water on her face.
