Vijay tells he will not have food or water until villagers agree to construct water dam. Ananth says this is wrong, it is difficult to convince people and till when he will not have food. Vijay says he does not know, if villagers don’t budge, he has to find another way. Once Ananth finishes food, he and Vijay go out. Mandira tries to provoke Bulbul that Vijay did not inform her before taking such a big decision, does he consider her as his wife or not. Bulbul says he does of course and whether he informs her or not, she will respect his decisions. She says she will also not have food or water with Vijay. Mandira fumes more in jealousy.
Villagers come and apologize Vijay for their rude behavior and says they realized value of water only after half day, they agree to Vijay’s terms. Bulbul brings water and asks Vijay to have it and finishes his remaining glass. Mandira fumes thinking why did Bulbul drank Vijay’s water. Kishori says Vijay had taken oath not to consume food or water till villagers agrees for a dam. Villagers praise Vijay and asks him to do bhoomi pooja there itself. Bulbul brings pooja thali. Mandira takes it and says she will do pooja with Vijay and get some blessings, Bulbul can drop flowers after pooja. Vijay picks land digger and reminiscing Mandira’s adamancy says credit goes to his wife as she gave him idea and she should perform bhoomi pooja. Bulbul performs bhoomi pooja while Mandira fumes. Villagers chant gaon ki beti ki jai. They says this calls for a celebration tonight. Ananth says he will sponsor it.
Celebration arrangements start. Bulbul’s friend teach her again to dorn pallu and finish ghunght ceremony tonight. Vijay enters and Bulbul dorns pallu. Mandira asks why she is dorning pallu when they have already consummated. Bulbul says not yet, ghonghat ceremony has not happened. Mandira happily runs out and dances on stage. She then drags Vijay for a dance. Vijay calls Bulbul for a dance.
Precap: Bulbul touches Vijay’s feet. Vijay scolds what is all this, till when she will wear ghunghat. She says ritual. He says he will finish this ritual drama and rudely removes her pallu. She stands shattered.
