“Ragini !Ragini get up u lazy head. It’s been 10 am and u r still sleeping” her Badi Maa said continuously wid her futile attempt of waking her up
“Just 5 more mins. Badi Maa. After dat I’ll pakka get up” She said while taking her out from blanket showing her 5 fingers symbolizing minutes, her whole body still covered in blanket.
Badi Maa: Since last 1 hr m listening Ur 5 mins. C’mon its enough nw. get up fast.
Ragini: Badi Maa dis one is d last time. Pls 5 more mins.
Badi Maa: not a minute more ragini c’mon Get up now.
“Arey Maa let her sleep Na, y r u making futile attempt of waking her up” Said Swara, Ragini’s cousin and her Badi Maa’s daughter.
“Swara u’ll not defend her dis time. U and Ur Father has literally spoiled her a lot. Dis time I’ll not listen to any one of u” she said wid a complaint in her voice.
“Ok Maa as u say. Main to sirf isliye bol rahi thi because Ragini has been awake till 6 in the morning due to her project” Swara said making a baby face
Badi Maa: Project? Which Project?
Swara: Wo the same project which she got during her vacations. Whole night she had worked on it and has slept at 6 in the morning.
“then y didn’t u told me before this. I was waking her up unnecessarily”She said with a worried voice.
Badi Maa: Beta tu aaram se soja ok. I’ll make sure that no one will disturb u not even Ur Bade Papa.
“Nahi Maa u r right we should wake her up now. After all its 10 of morning and Gud girls should be wake up by nw.” Swara said in a dramatic way.
“Kya kar rahi ho Di? Badi Maa ko mana ke hi manogi kya?” ragini said under her breath
“Pagal ho kya? She’s been awake till 6 and u r asking me to wake her up? Let her sleep for sum more time. Rest is also necessary for Good health”Badi Maa said getting concerned for Ragini.
“Maa abhi aap ye bol rahe ho then u’ll say that I and Dad has spoiled her”She said in a complaining voice
“I’ll not say anything like this. My Bachha has been awake whole night. Now let her sleep for sum more time and u come wid me in d kitchen I need ur help over there” Badi Maa said in a Authoritive voice.
“Ok Maa as u say” Swara nodded innocently slightly smiling on the success of her plan.
“Have a Good sleep my sweetest daughter. Today I’ll make all Ur Fav. Dishes for Lunch” Badi Maa said while Kissing Ragini over the blanket and moves out from the room.
As soon as she stepped out from the room ragini removes the blanket and gives a hi-five to Swara who was standing near by. Ragini’s parents have died in an accident when she was 2 years old and since then she was living wid the family of her father’s elder Brother who had never treated her less then her own daughter. Ragini was the apple of everyone’s eye including her Badi Maa who although be strict wid her at times but Ragini didn’t mind that because she knows that she loves her from the core. Ragini didn’t remembered her parents clearly but for one thing she was sure that they too can’t give her dis much Love and happiness what her Bade Papa, Badi Maa and Swara Di is giving to her and she never felt that they r not her parents in fact she always considers herself as the part of this family.
“Ragini one day u’ll definitely make me stuck into a big mess” Swara said while hitting her head playfully.
Swara was not only her elder sister but her best friend for whom Ragni can do anything and go to any extent.
“Oho C’mon Di! Tum to aise keh rahi ho jaise maine tumse kaha tha mere liye jhooth bolne ko. Waise it’s a very bad thing ha Flight Lt. swara mehra aur Jhooth wo bhi apni Maa se, Chi! Chi! Babaji kya zamana aa gaya hai” ragini said in a full dramatic way to which Swara holds her ears tight.
Ragini: Ouch Di! It hurts pls leave.
Swara: Acha now it hurts hhmmm. Agar maine Maa ko bata diya hota ki madam Ragini Raat bhar project nahi bana rahi thi balki Ranbir Kapoor ki movies dekh rahi thi to meri jagah ye Kaan Maa ne pakda hota and here u r teasing me
Ragni: Acha Di Sorry Last time. Pls forgive me. Pls Pls Pls
Ragini said literally pleading her and Swara instantly melts.
“Pagal, waise I don’t understand wat interesting u find in that Ranbir Kapoor that u drool over him so much” Swara said rolling her eyes
“Di ye poocho usme kya interesting nahi hai. His body, his looks, his style, his killer smile, his persona, uski wo killer looks. Haye! I just can’t take my mind away from him. The way he performed that Khuda jaanewala step and wo Anjana Anjani me he looks so deadly. O gosh! I was dead then and there only” Ragini said wid a dreamy look.
“Ragini tu sach much pagal hai. U r drooling over him like he’s Ur Dream Man” Swara said while rolling her eyes
“Di! Tum to ho the Great Flight Lt. swara mehra so tumhara Dream Man to Macho Man types ka hoga na. U know Rough and Tough types. But I’m different mujhe to Ranbir Kapoor jaisa Chocolaty Boy chahiye who is as romantic as him. Wo Angry Young Man types nahi jo har baat pe bas gussa karna jaanta ho” Ragini said wid a pouting face.
swara: Ragini tu totally Pagal aur Filmy hai, tujhe pata hai ye baat
Ragini: I know but jaisi bhi hoon I’ll always be ur lovable sister like this only for whom u can say lie to even Badi Maa also
She said while hugging her tight.
Swara: Fine enough now. don’t get emotional this much. Ek din main apni saari help ka hisaab vasool kar loongi.
Ragini: Promise Di! Mana karu to Definitely 2 thappad laga dena.
Swara: Pagal! Chal enough of ur Bak-Bak. Now go and Sleep or Maa will cum to know about our lie.
Swara was about to go outside when Ragini stops her
Ragini: Di!
Swara: Ab kya hua?
Ragini: Mujhe mera Dream Man milega na?
Swara could do nothing but smile at her little sister innocence
Swara: Zarur Milega and agar nahi Mila then I’ll find him for u. I promise.
“O Di! I Love you so much”Ragini said wid a smile on her face and once again gone to sleep dreaming of his prince charming

Whole house was filled wid guests and lots of rush was there. It seems some preparations is going on over there for some ceremony. Whole house was decorated beautifully wid Flowers and curtains. Though it was kept as a simple ceremony and very few close relatives were only invited but yet there was lots of hassle going on.
There she was sitting in her Room in front of Mirror in Bridal Attire and was looking the most beautiful bride of the world but by the forlorn look on her face anyone can easily tell that she’s getting scared for unknown reason. But she hides that worry behind her smile just for the sake of the family. She’s happy to fulfill her last wish rather than her own dream. She looked at the photograph in the dresser and a lone tear escaped from her eye remembering the old times.
“Ragini” she heard her Bade Papa calling from behind and she instantly wiped that tear away and look behind only to find her Bade Papa and Badi Maa standing behind. She instantly go and hugged her Bade Papa and cried silently in his embrace.
“Ragini beta, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for all this. I know u never ever thought of this marriage. Ur dreams and Ur expectations are something else but yet u are doing this” he said while rubbing her back gently consoling her.
Ragini instantly came out from his embrace and her heart cried seeing the guilt on the face of the person who was her ideal.
“Ragini abhi bhi der nahi hui hai beta. We can never go against Ur wish. If u r not ready for this marriage then we can just call it off. Nothing is more important than u for us” her Badi Maa added wid the tears in her eyes.
Ragini: Badi Maa, Bade Papa ye aap log kaisi baat kar rahe ho. Y r u both feeling guilty for no reason. I’m happy trust me I’m very much happy. I was crying because I’m going to miss u all, thats it.
Bade Papa: Ragini u r still not that big that u can lie to me. Just answer my one question was this the Dream that u had seen for Ur Marriage, for Ur Life partner?
Ragini: I know Bade Papa this is not what I dreamt of. But Sapne to sapne hi hote hai Na. so what if this is not at I dreamt of but it is Swara Di’s Last wish and her wish is more important for me rather than my own Dreams.
Badi Maa: But …
Ragini: Badi Maa, don’t worry for anything I’m happy that m going to fulfill my Di’s Last wish. and there r so many marriages in which Love happens after marriage may be same thing is written in my Destiny too.
Badi Maa: Do u really Think that he’ll Love you? Do u think that he’ll give u that place in his heart which he had given to Swara?
Ragini: I don’t know and I don’t want to think about it also all I know is that I’m going to fulfill the last wish of that person whom we all loved a lot including him also.
Bade Papa: is this Ur Last Decision beta?
Ragini slowly nodded her head in yes and Badi Maa just hugged her tight
“If Ram and Sujata would be alive today then they would be so proud of u” her Bade Papa said while patting her head.
Bade Papa: I guess now we should take Ragini Downstairs. It’s time for the Marriage now and everyone is waiting for her.
Bade Maa: hhmmm beta we are waiting for u outside. Come fast hhmmm
Ragini nodded and Badi Maa left the room.
“I miss u Di” Ragini said while kissing Swara’s picture and left the Room before giving it one last glance.

There in the downstairs he was waiting in the Mandap for her to arrive. Not because this was the moment that he has waited for so long but he just wanted to finish off with all these ceremonies so that he don’t have to pretend anymore that he’ happy wid this marriage but the fact is that he’s not at all happy. He was just doing it for the sake of the person whom he Loved the Most, her deceased wife Swara.
He was well known as Sanskar Maheswari who had never made compromises in his life and now here he’s going to make the biggest compromise of his life. Going to marry to the girl who is his Wife’s Younger sister and for whom he feel nothing other then respect that he should have in their relationship.
He knows that just like other girls she must have many expectations from this Marriage, from him but to her luck he can’t fulfill anyone of them because his heart, his soul, his life belonged to only person for whose happiness he’s going to do compromise for the first time in his life. But isn’t she knows that before of course she knows it but same like him she’s also doing it for the person whom she loves the most. Ironically, they both are sailing on the same boat but only God knows that whether there Destinations are same or not.
Just then he saw her descending the stairs cuming towards him. She’s indeed looking the most beautiful Bride in the World but for him she is just a responsibility and this Relationship is just a compromise.
As soon as she arrived the Wedding ceremonies have been started. Both Ragsan were taking part in it quietly without giving a glance to each other. When the time of Kanyadaan came ragini’s Bade Papa keeps her hand in Sanskar’s hand and he just holds it reluctantly and dis is when Ragini turned to look at him who was looking straight.
He’s the Dream of every girl and any girl would be blessed to have a person like him in her life but unfortunately she’s not that girl as she can never gain that place in his heart that her Di was having. She sighed as this thought came into her mind but did she expected anything of this sort when she agreed to dis proposal.
Finally the rituals came to an end and Sanskar ties the Mangalsutra around her neck and puts Sindoor on her forehead marking her as his wife but just for the outer world. In there they both knows that this relation is just for name sake.
As the Marriage rituals ended, the Bidaai session has started and Ragini cried a lot hugging her Badi Maa who just blessed her for her Lovely Future silently praying to God that her daughter gets all the Love and Happiness from this Marriage that she deserves from this Marriage.
Bade Papa Makes ragini sit in Sanskar’s car accompanied by his Sister Uttara (kanchi Singh) and Younger Brother Laksh and finally she goes with the person with whom she’s “Destinied To Be”. Her Bade Papa and Badi Maa watched her going until she gets disappeared from their sight

Ragini gets a warm welcome in MM as d Badi Bahu of Maheshwari’s. Raginiwas not unknown to dis place. She has came here many times before but that was being the Sister of Swara and today she’s getting welcomed as a daughter-in-law of maheshwari’s. She wonders that if she’ll be ever able to fulfill the duties and responsibilities that was of her sister.
Sanskar was not at all interested in this after Marriage rituals but due to insisted by his Anuparman he half-heartedly takes part in it and as soon as it finishes he moves straight to his study making excuse of some important work but Ragini knows that it was just a way of distancing himself from her.
After sometime Uttara and her friends takes ragini to sanskar’s room which was fully decorated wid flowers. Ragini gasped seeing the Room and uttara teased her thinking that she’s feeling shy but least she knows that it was something else. They make her sit on the Bed and let her over there waiting for sanskar..
Ragini just sat there thinking how her life changed in just a matter of few days. Till yesterday she was happily dreaming of her Prince charming and today she got married to the person who is not less then a prince charming but he does not belong to her. The Person who was her beloved Jiju till yesterday is now her husband. God knows what expectations he must be having from hera nd will she ever be able to meet up to his expectations. There relationship has changed all of a sudden and it’s not easy to accept that change all of a sudden but she’ll try her best to keep this Marriage working even if it is a compromised one.
She sighed and looked around the Room only to find swasan pics all over the Room confessing the unbreakable Bond between them. She wonders whether she’ll be ever able to get that place in his heart. But Wait! What is she thinking? She’s expecting sumthing unexpected. She knows very well that she’ll never get her Di’s place neither in his heart nor in his life so it’s better if she don’t expect anything from him. May be this is what her Destiny has written for her. She rests her head at the bedpost lost in her thoughts and didn’t realized when she dozed off waiting for him.

Sanskar came to his Room late at night knowing that she must have slept by now. he don’t want to face her due to sudden change in their Relationship therefore he kept himself busy in the study for late and when he thought that she must have slept by now he decided to came to his room. He opens the door of his Room hoping that “Is she really waiting for me? But she knows that I can’t fulfill any of her expectations” he thought and goes towards the cupboard.
Ragini’s sleep gets disturbed when she heard sum sound and when she opens her eyes she saw sanskar taking out blanket and Pillow from the cupboard. She instantly gets up from the bed when she saw him wondering where he’s going. Sanskar takes out his blanket and pillow and turned only to find ragini staring at him confusingly
“Is he going sumwhere? But where and was it because of me? No I can’t let him sacrifice anymore due to dis relationship. But how should I stop him? But I have to stop him. But what should I call him; Jiju no he’s not my Jiju anymore then Sanskar but will it look good. Hey Babaji! Ab main kya karoon?” she thought while still staring at him.
“Do u want to say something” Sanskar’s asked seeing her staring at him confusingly. His voice broke her trance and she instantly spoke
“Aap kahin ja rahe hai?” she asked innocently to him thinking that dis is the best way to address him. Sanskarfelt awkward due to sudden change in her addressing. She always use to address him “Jiju” or “Di Ka Ghulam”or “Angry Young Man” and now she is not addressing him from any of dese but as “Aap”. He instantly shrugged off his thoughts and looked at her
Sanskar: ya, I was going to guest room to sleep.
ragini: but y r u going over there? I mean its Ur Room only u can sleep over here too.
Sanskar: Dekho ragini, we both know dis very well that dis Marriage is just a compromise that we had done just for Swara’s sake (he closed his eyes for a while thinking of Swara) for the outer world we may present ourselves as a happily Married Couple but we both know what the reality is so I don’t want any of us to feel awkward. therefore its better if I sleep in the guest room and then I’ll return to my Room early in the morning.
He said it all in a breath whatever came in his mind and then looks at her only to find her looking at him in a amused way.
Ragini: But What if anyone comes to know that u were sleeping at Guest Room, they won’t feel happy if they come to know about it by any chance.(She said and stopped for a while to see his reaction) I guess u must sleep over here only.
Sanskar” but ragini…
Ragini : don’t worry I’ll sleep at the Sofa and u can sleep on the bed
She said and goes towards the Bed to take her pillow and blanket. Before Sanskarcould register anything he saw her moving towards couch
“Ragini, Ek min.” he instantly said and ragini stop right in her tracks and turned to look at him.
“U don’t have to sleep on d couch. U can sleep on bed and I’ll sleep over there” he said hesitantly
“No, its ok. I’ll be comfortable on the couch.
“Ragini, I know u must be having many expectations from me and dis marriage but I just wanted to say that..
“U don’t have to say or explain anything to me. I haven’t expected anything from u or this Marriage. I’ll never take Swara Di’s place in Ur heart or Ur life because I know that I can’t. U don’t have to worry from my side” she said maintaining a calm face without a tinge of pain
Ragini: We both will stay in the same room under same roof but as two strangers just like the two persons stay in one compartment of train.
Sanskar don’t know what should he say to her now. he had always known her as a bubbly and lively girl who just remains in the dreams of her Prince Charming oblivious of anything else in the world and here she’s talking so maturely like she understands what was there in his heart. He felt guilty as he can’t give that right to her by any chance which was hers and she has to live her whole life with the burden of this Relationship.
Ragini: Aap kafi thak gaye honge. U go and sleep and I’ll also change and sleep. Good night.
She said and moves towards d washroom taking her night suit to change leaving Sanskar behind lost in his own thoughts.
