It has been a few days since we are reading about the deets of Rushad Rana and Ketki Walawalkar’s wedding ceremony. Their star studded Mehendi ceremony was the talk of the town.Today the couple has walked down the aisle and tied the knot. The first pictures are everywhere on the internet and the reception will take place in the evening.
The pre wedding rituals started with a bang. Today for the wedding, Ketki went with a traditional Maharashtrian look. The patent nath (nose accessory) complemented the look further followed by her beautiful smile. Rushad also looked absolutely dapper as a maharastrian groom wearing dhoti-kurta. The couple looks radiant as they smile for the picture.
In a recent interview, talking about his marriage plans, Rushad had said, “Ketaki is a very down-to-earth, mature woman, who has a great personality. About a year ago, we met and went out on our first date, in fact, January 4th was our first date, hence we decided to get married on the same date next year. Our relationship started with casual meetings, but gradually we fell in love. My parents are very fond of Ketaki and although I am a Parsi and she is a Maharashtrian, both our families are avidly looking forward to our wedding. I am glad that everything went smoothly, and our parents agreed for a simple Hindu wedding.”
He further added, “I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my life with Ketaki. On January 4, after our wedding, we will throw a party for our friends and family members in the evening.”
