What if Saumya had really married Rudra by swapping Bhavya ?

Saumya hides a past which had killed her brother in front of her and she always blamed herself for it. Only her sisters Swetlana and Tia know her painful past.

She is indeed Saumya Tendulkar .

And she has rechristened herself as Saumya Kapoor.

And she needs to avenge her Baba and Papa \’s deaths , to live peacefully but what if her past comes back to her in most unexpected way

Will Rudra ever understand her pain , will he fall in love with her again even though he knows she is going to hurt him and his family.

She cannot show her love for Rudra to anyone , no one , not Rudra , he already hates her now as she believes , she cannot especially tell this to her sisters especially Swetlana , they both have spoiled their lives just to get justice for their fathers how can she fail her ?

Chapter 1

This story starts from the holi episode

Rudra comes near Saumya and dances for sometime with her and suddenly he coughed . Instantly worried for his health she asked if he was okay and he replied in positive. They shared a brief eyelock until Rudra reminded himself that he has to get Saumya inebriated with cannabis (bhang) parathas and asked her some. Elated that he remembered her favourite food she ate a piece of the paratha. At the second bite she had just turned around and got a shock of her life. Two boys standing in front of Shivaay and Omkara. Their names Rohan and Soham. Upon asking Rudra she got to know that they were Omkara\’s friends and were here for the wedding. She politely put the plate down, \’\’Rudra actually I\’m not feeling well , I\’m going to my room and please it will be huge favour for me if you don\’t disturb me today, please.\’\’ She did not want to sound rude but she needed to leave immediately and she could not show her vulnerability to Rudra, she could not let her past resurface. She had suffered more than enough. Rudra could not leave her alone , first he had loved her before her departure from his life and so the protective instinct , second he wanted his plan to succeed. Somehow his plan should work and for that he had to inebriate her. \”Sure sumo , lets take you to your room.\” She felt chills in her spine as soon as she heard his words and maybe she was going to have a panic attack and with them being in front of her for one more second could make it worse and Rudra\’s suggestion made it a bit worse . \”Okay R..Rudra.\” And she fake smiled. \’Once in the corridor I will move atleast ten steps ahead you have to do that Saumya ,you cant hurt Rudra.\’, thinking this she went ahead and walked with great speed shocking Rudra.

Once she entered her room she banged the door on his face. When Rudra was cursing his luck he heard a crash sound and protection of his Sumo was important for him again. He knocked the door but it did not open. Then came another crash and another and another. He couldn\’t decipher what was that and rushed to a window of her room and saw the room was complete mess. Saumya had thrown her dupatta and heavy earrings, hair opened and was crying. With head bowed down and hugging herself .

\”Sumo , open the door ,sumo\” her head shot up why was he shouting for but chose to open the door.

And when she opened it he engulfed her in a hug , which she needed and they both knew it. \”Sumo, tell me what happened , did someone say something to you ?\”, he enquired as if his life depended on her answer. She wanted to shout no but she couldn\’t. A lone tear escaped from her eye and he wiped it immediately. He could never see her crying. \” Rudra , I don\’t want to hurt you but can you please drop me to Romi\’s home. I know… I know that you hate her but please this is the first time I\’m asking you something, can you please do this for me.\” \”Yes if that makes you happy I will drop you Sumo , chal lets go.\”

The drive was a silent one. Rudra stole glances from her but she never even moved an eyeball towards him. Something was definitely wrong with her and he could not reach to a conclusion. She was looking through the glass the whole journey.

They reached Romi\’s house and he pulled up the car and within no time Saumya was out of the car and rang Romi\’s doorbell. When Romi saw her she was shocked. Saumya was crying. Romi felt scared and defeated. She knew Saumya\’s past too, afterall she was her best friend , childhood best friend. She quickly took her in. Rudra considered not to disturb the bffs and left. When he reached home Bhavya made him drink Bhaang and all enjoyed holi under bhaang effect.

Next day the hangover had set in and had gotten worse. Shivaay noticed that Saumya wasn\’t present and Rudra told him everything. \”Better now there will be no problem if she is not here.\” His words hurt Rudra. He had loved her with so much passion but had to hide from everyone including his love, Saumya.

Veer was restless as Saumya was not there to help him but Svetlana called him and explained the situation somehow, she had never told anyone about Saumya\’s past to anyone , not even Saumya\’ Aai ,her own maternal aunt her mother\’s own sister upon Saumya\’s request, let alone Veer.

Svetlana was at Romi\’s house along with Tia, Dushyant and their child to help Saumya overcome her panic attack. Romi had immediately called her and asked her to come over as Saumya kept on crying and was inconsolable making them wonder what had happened to her that she was crying like this. She had last cried like this five years ago when she lost her elder brother , Sameer Tendulkar before slipping into a one year long coma. That was the last time she cried because according to Saumya her tears had dried and now she could not cry easily. The incident made her hard. From the sweet, cute, happy, gold hearted Saumya Tendulkar their dear Saumu became a heartless, stone hearted ,cold Saumya Kapoor
