Ruhaniyaat (Segment 97)

Few months later –
His point of view –
“Bhai are you sure i can do this..?” I asked John fixing his sherwani.
“Ofcourse you’re the man Jhonny ” he said and patted my back.
I pondered over my idea of proposing Pie again.
Should i do it today .?
Should i wait ..?
I was just so nervous.

“So everybody ready..?” Big -B asked walking into the room.
We were having the reception party for John and Bhabhi at our beach house..
Partially because Pie loved the place so much and partially because the location was nice..
“Yup just the finishing touches of makeup.” I said and both of us bursted out laughing as John glared at us..
He was nervous about looking too plane in front of Bhabhi.
Bhabhi was beautiful..no doubt on that but my bro was handsome too..

“So all prepared..?” Big -B asked exitedly.
“Okay here we go let me rehearse..” i said taking a deep breath.
Both of them chuckeled in response..
“Pie would you like to become my wife.?” I said extending my hand in front of the mirror..
“Bhai is it a business deal..?” John asked horrfied exppression on his face while Big-B tried to stiffle his laugh..
“Lets try again .” I said with determination on my face..
“So pie will you be my wife..?” and this time John bursted out laughing…
“Nahi bhai tumse na ho payega..” he said and patted my back..

“Why don’t you try sitting on your knee..?” Big-B suggested..
“Yea it will work.” said John..
I just hope everything goes well and i don’t make a fool out of myself..

Her point of view –
“Mommmy..” baby boy whined extending his hands as he wanted to be picked up..
“Baby mom is getting ready .. by the way where is your sister.?” She questioned..
“Sisshy lost” he said and pouted.
“Ohh baby ..lets go find her..” i said and picked him up before walking out of the room..
“Angel can you help her getting ready.?”
“Sure bhabhi.”
They needed to bond together and i was going to give them the required time.
“Come love ” i coeed to to the little kid and walked with him to the shore.
The kid squirmed in my arms at the sight of water and i sat him down on his feet.
He waddled to the water and fell on his bum as the wave hit his legs.
“Come on now let’s find your sister now..” i said and tried to pick him up..
“No.” He pouted
“Please babu..”
“No” he said and turned back to watching the waves.
Just then Dex walked out the house with Princess in his arms..
He just adores her to the core..
I watched them in awe as he fussed over her kissing her cheek every now and then ..
He had said many times that he wanted a baby girl.
His eyes snapped upwards and he smiled at me.
I smiled back.

“Look princess we found your brother..” he said walking towards us.
“Yaay ” she giggled before joining him on the shore..
Dex wrapped his arms around me as we continued to watch the kids together..

His point of view –
The guest had arrived and were greeting the happy couple..
I rechecked the ring box in my pocket for the nth time before walking towards Pie.
She looked breath takingly beautiful in her long blue gown that fitted her perfectly..
“May i have this dance..?” I asked her bowing down a little and extending my hand to offer..
She giggled before placing her hand in my large ones..

“Sure you can”
I walked her up to the center of the stage before the lights dimmed and a romantic number came on..
I held her by the waist as she placed her hands around my neck..
janam janam saath chalna yunhi
Kasam tumhe kasam aake milna yahin
Ek jaan hai bhale do badan ho juda

Meri hoke humesha hi rehna
Kabhi na kehna alvida
I pulled her closer so that i could whisper in her ears as we swayed to the music..
Meri subah ho tumhi aur tumhi shaam ho
Tum dard ho tum hi aaraam ho
Meri duaaon se aati hai bas ye sadaa

Meri hoke humesha hi rehna
Kabhi na kehna alvidaAha ha ha o…
“Love ” i whispered and she looked up at me
“Will you make me the happiest man in the world..?” I asked
“How..?” She questioned looking confused..
“By marrying me…will you marry me baby..?”

She looked at me for some time and my nervousness was touching the sky till then ..
“Yes of course” she said and burried her head in my chest as we continued to dance.
I slid in the ring above our engagement ring

Teri baahon mein hai mere dono jahaan
Tu rahe jidhar meri jannat wahin
Jal rahi agan hai jo ye do tarfa
Na bujhe kabhi meri mannat yahi
Tu meri aarzu, main teri aashiqui
Tu meri shayari, main teri mausiqi
Talab talab talab bas teri hai mujhe
Nason mein tu nasha banke ghulna yunhi
Meri mohabbat ka karna tu haq ye adaa
Meri hoke hamesha hi rehna
Kabhi na kehna Alvida…
Meri subah ho tumhi aur tumhi shaam ho
Tum dard ho, tum hi aaraam ho
Meri duaaon se aati hai bas ye sadaa
Meri hoke humesha hi rehna
Kabhi na kehna Alvida…Aa… alvida..O… na na..

We kept swaying to the music together enjoying our little moment.
I heard throat clearing and i broke away from Pie to look at the source of voice.
It was Dad who was looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
I shifted nervously on my place embarrased by the whole situation..
“Oh my god” Bhabhi squealed and everybody turned to look at her..
“Kya hua.?” questioned a confused John..
“Zizu just proposed si” she said nearly jumping on her feet out of exitement..
Thats when i realised that she had noticed the ring on Pie’s finger .
Girls will never change..they always detect the most minutest detail in a person..
Pie blushed furiously as both Papa and Dad eyed me ..
“Did you..?”

I gulped before replying with a nod.
“Arey mumbark mubark..,” said Papa and Dad before hugging each other while John gave me a hug.
After everyody had congratulated us we finally headed to the beach for some quiet time..

Her point of view-

“I just can’t wait to get married to you love..” he whispered pulling me close.
I just smiled in response too overwhelmed with emotions to response..
He wrapped his arms around me and i found myself melting in his arms.
I placed my head on his shoulder as we continued to walk on the shore in silence..
No words needed to express our happiness..
This will be our new begining..
We shall cherish each other for all our lives..

Stoneheart

My name explains it all..!
