His sister’s point of view –
“I want to meet you..” the text read.
I locked my phone and unlocked it again..yet it had the same message..
“I want to meet you..”
I have been repeating this activity since the past hour..locking unlocking unsure about what to reply.
Captain had texted me about him of wanting to meet me..
How should i respond to it .?
After that news about him in the newspaper i am not so sure about what to expect from him.?
Are we over..?or do we have something left.?
Should i talk to bhabhi about it..?
But if i see the time diffrence then she might be sleeping right now..
But there is no harm in trying right .?
“Are you up..?” I texted
And she called back in response..
“Hello..”.
“Did i wake you .?”
“Naah … New mothers don’t sleep.”
“Hey don’t say that about my nephew..he is the cutest little thing..”
“Sure they are cute .. but only in the day..so what’s troubling you..?”
“How do you know that something is bothering me..?”
“Because he called me too..”
“And what did he say..?”
“I can’t tell you that..its against best friends code..” she gasped dramatically..
“Yea ..yea .. so you know everything right..?”
“Yes i do .”
“So what do you suggest .?”
“Meet him..”
“How…? He is in India…
“He is in London..”
“When ..why..?”
“He is there for a training camp at Lords stadium..”
“Oohh..okay..”
“Don’t okay me… Meet him tomorrow..”
“But i have to go the institute .. ”
“Sweetheart tomorrow is saturday . And i know you have weekends off..”
“I dont think we can get anything past you..” i sighed and hung up when J.J started to cry..
Alright..! We are meeting tomorrow .

“Alright.” I texted to him first thing in the morning.
“Meet at me the Buckingham Palace Gardens at 12” came the reply immediately..
Its 9 now.. 1 hour to get ready … And then 1 hour to reach fair enough.. but the most important question being what do i wear..?
Its a lunch should i wear a dress..?
But wouldn’t that be too formal..?
How about i wear jeans ..? Naah.. that will be too casual..
Should i ask bhabhi..? Nooo.. Sab chiz kya unse puchna.
But what if i dress up and he is like break up my hardwork will go waste ..
But what if he really wants to get together with me.. and i dress up like shit and he is like am i making a mistake.?

“Good morning bhai..”
“Hi Baby girl what’s up..?”
“I am all good aap batao..how are the kids..?”
“All my three babies are doing good..they are asleep right now..”
I like the way how bhai always refers to bhabhi as his kid..its so cute..and thank goodness i dint call her..
“And hows romeo and juliet..?”
“Oh they are fine they are planning on taking up teach India volunteership..”.
“Oh thats great..acha bhai when you first met bhabhi what was she wearing .?”
“A blue dress” he said
“Ahaan..sab yaad hain apko..”
“Yaad reh jata hain sweetheart main koi memorise thodi karta hun specifically uski batein..jab tumhein pyar hoga tabh tumhein bhi unki choti choti batein yaad ho jayengi..” he sighs happily ..
“Yea ..chalo i have to go..i will talk to you later and bhabhi ko mere taraf se ek kiss extra..” i say and before he can react i hang up..
I love teasing my bhai ..relation between brother and sister is all about teasing.
“Feeling nervous going to meet Captain after a long time” i texted Dada before leaving.
“Jaa simran jaa jee le apni zindagi” came his reply.. my ever so dramatic Dada and so is his love story with bhabhi ..
So finally dressed in his favourite dress i head over to catch the metro..
As i approached the garden i saw him from a distance nervously pacing around the gate..
I guess some things never change.
Him wearing my favourite colour and me wearing his favourite dress..
I walked over to him,my gaze on him the whole time..
As soon as he notice me he straighted his posture and began fixing his hair ..
Everything seems the same..Did anything change at all..?
“Uhh..hi..”he said awkwardly extending his hand to me..and he i thought he will give me a hug as i had my arms outstretched..
Her best friend’s point of view –
“Sorry..” she giggled nervously as she retreated her arms back and let them out for a handshake..and i had taken my shaky hand back and was ready for the hug..
“Nevermind” we said in unison as we entered the line to get in..
“So…?” She questioned turning back..
“So..?” I echoed..
“I want to know it all…” She said looking straight into my eyes or rather into my soul..
“Oh..kay then..lets start from the begining..” i said as we both entered the garden…
Today is going to be a long long day..
