Ruhaniyaat (Segment 130)

His best friend’s point of view –
I was surprised when Jhonny took us to the ashram ….
Not exactly surprised but u know i din’t think that he would come here with the kids..
But why is he here..?
“Can you hold him.?” He said gesturing to Junior and i place Titli down on the ground before taking a sleeping junior..

Jhonny walks in and soon comes out with a sleeping kid hugging him close to his chest.
“Who is he..?” I question but get no answer as he keeps hugging the kid.
“Jai ram ji ki ” i greet as all elders start coming out behind Jhonny.
I am surprised when twins themselves go and touch their feet titli crawling behind on her fours..
“Jhonny i am asking you something..” i say more sternly now.
What the hell is wrong with him.?

“Baby..” the twins chirp and gather around Jhonny who seems possesed by the mysterious baby..
They have been so fascinated of babies lately and more so after Junior.
I place Junior on the charpayi outside and pick my daughter up who seems busy following ants.
“Baby we don’t do that” i explain to her as she begins kicking her legs to be let down..
“Da Da ” she says and gives me those puppy dog eyes ..
No i am not melting for them ..noo..not this time..

I don’t have to give up ..no i don’t have to do it.
I have to focus on my best friend and that mysterious baby..so i pull her up higher in my arms and head over to where the twins have surrounded Jhonny..
The baby is awake now as he stares at Jhonny with his big green eyes and Jhonny stares back..
Its like they having a secret convesation with each other.
We continune to play some for some time without getting any answers..
Yes i din’t get any answers but i din’t want to press it any further in front of the kids either..
I will catch hold of him later maybe when we are alone ..

We head back to our house to find it quiet ..
His point of view –
I feel the urge to talk to Pie even stronger when we start to head home..
That kid has something in his eyes which pulls me to him..
I feel some sort of a connection..
I so have to talk to her now..

When we get home the house is quiet so i assume that everybody is resting in their rooms before the brahmins start to come..
I head upstairs with my son to talk to Pie but she is not in the room..
I find her asleep in bhabhi’s room with Bhabhi caressing her hair gently ..
These two have a lot of love for each other and that makes me so happy..
“Don’t wake her up..she has been working since 4 am for the lunch..” she says before closing the door behind her..
I am so proud of her..

I place Junior next to her and sit on the other side..
Sensing my presence she snuggles up to me..
“Dexh.”
“Yes baby..”
“Want to cuddle..” she says as she snuggles deeper..
I kiss her on the head before pulling her close to me..

She lays asleep in my arms as i think about how to tell her..
Ring Ring Ring
Her phone goes off and i am surprised to see that its Birdie..
I swipe the screen to receive the call and before i can say anything she starts to cry..
“Bhabhi..” she says still crying..
“Princess whats wrong .?” I ask and she goes quiet instantly..
I think she was not expecting me to receive Pie’s phone..
“Bhai.”

“Yes princess what’s wrong..? Tell me..”
“Can i talk to bhabhi please..?”
“She is asleep .. but you can talk to me..what happened and why are ypu crying..?” I ask my voice raising with every word..
“Bhai..wo newspaper..” she says ..
She has calmed down a bit..but she is still sniffling…

“Baby girl what is it..?”
“Bhai don’t get angry there is news about Captain in the paper..”
“And.?”
“He was with a cheerleader” she says and breaks down hysterically..
“Baby..calm down .”
“Yea..”
“I will look into it..you okay baby.?”

“Yea bhai..”
My dislike for this guy is increasing day by day.

Oh my god..!
Its 130 and i am freaking out…
