Ruhaniyaat (Segment 127)

His point of view –
Pie carried junior to the plane as we had to check in the pram at the security..
I carried her hand bag and Junior diaper bag following close..
Beep
It was a message from a private number

‘Have a safe trip.By the way your son is soo cute’ the message read.
My brain instantly went on high alert mode.
Bhaiya.
It couldn’t possibly be him..
I think he had seen enough the last time..
I looked over to Pie who was already sitting with Junior on her lap..
I sent a quick text to my men about tracking down the message and settled down beside her..
The twins were stuck to John like glue while Titli was asleep in bhabhi’s arms..
Minute by minute they were holding him tighter and tighter.
“What with them.?” I asked John gesturing to the twins.

Its a rare sight that they go this clingy.
“They don’t like the planes ” he explained and i saw them flinch at the word planes.
“Dada.” Princess whines as she wants to be picked up..
“Dada.” This time its the boy..He extends his arms signalling his father to pick him up.
“Princess would you like to come to me..?” I asked hopeful.
Her brows creased as she looked between her father and me..
Analyzing her choices.

“No” she said and jutted out her bottom lip..
Pie giggled beside me..
“Love come to me..” bhabhi said and princess burried her head in bhabhi’s lap.
“Zizu can you please hold titli for me..?” She asked.
“Gladly.” And i took my baby into my arms.
I love her so very much.
Its not that i don’t love Dex junior ..i love him a lot but i want a girl someday.
I just want one girl among my children whom i can spoil rotten.
Titli had started to stir due to change of hands..

She opened her eyes and looked at me..
“Hi..” i said to her as she rubbed her eyes sleepily.
I hugged her close to my chest and she wrapped her arms around me..
I supported her head with my hand as she placed it on my shoulder..
“My drama queen likes you..” says John and i smile.
Her point of view –
I knew Dex always wanted a daughter and i think thats what he has found in titli..
He is so happy with her and when he is happy i am happy too..
I shift my focus to Dex junior who suddenly gave a loud wail.
“I think he can feel the air pressure… Give him something to suck on..” explains Sister..
I give him a binkie and hold him close to me..
He grips my shirt tight and i can feel him panic..

He gives out low whimpers as i rub his back to soothe him down.
I look over at Dex who is snuggling with Titli.
Her head is burried in his shoulder and likewise his in hers.
He has dosed off so i gently massage his hair and kiss it..
He smiled and shifted his head on my shoulder clutching my arm tightly.
I am such a lucky girl and i love my boys so much.

His point of view –
We had reached our hometown and were currently in the car to go home..
John was driving while I sat in the passenger seat.

The twins were in the back seat and our wives in the middle seat.
The twins were bubbling with exitement about meeting their grandparents..
I hadn’t received a reply from my men which was increasing my worry every minute..
I glanced at Pie whose head was rested on the window while my son was sleeping holding her tight..
I have this weird strange feeling in my heart.
I am a bit worried about that message but happy that they are with me so i can be there for them..
I remember our conversation in Pie Old bedroom where i had promised her to be her Batman and i plan to stand true to my promise.
Jab tak main hun Junior aur Pie ko kuch nai hoga..

“Kya hua..? ”
“Nothing ..just tired..” i say and glance back at Pie whose asleep now..
I need to stop thinking negative and calm myself down.
My nervousness is not going to do anyone good..
Pie senses my moods and she has enough on her plate right now with Junior ..work..and puja ..i don’t want to add to her worries.
We stop at a petrol pump to stretch our legs..

“Bhabhi can i sit with her..?” I question and she giggles.
“Abh toh shadi ho gayi hain ..abh toh chill karo.” She teases..
John senses my mood and asks bhabhi to let me sit behind.
I smile at him as a gesture of gratitude..

“Love i missed you..” he says and i smile knowing that my best friend is whipped..
I rest Pie’s head on my shoulder and she senses my presence because she snuggles in..
Junior begins to wake up and looks at me with his big eyes.
“Hi love bug..” and he coos in reply.
He has grown so much..
He responds to everyone who talks to him and he will become a chatter box soon..

Her point of view –
We had reached the house and everybody was still settling in..
I went to Mom and Dad’s room to ask about the pooja..
They had come here the day before to prepare for the pooja..
“Beta bhramin bhoj hoga . Khana humein banana hoga..bina masale wala.” She explains
“Ji maa.”
“Kareeb kitte bhramin ayenge..?” I enquired.
“Beta wo sab tirth par jate hain toh yaha vishram karne aate hain..
Tab humein unki seva karni hoti hain.”
“Ji ma..”
“Pieee ” calls Dex

“Aayi..” i answer.
“Fir bhi maa..kitne log..?” I asked trying to form a plan
“Karib 50”
“Pie…” He calls again.
“Jao beta ”
“Its okay ma..aap bataiye..aur kya karna hai..?”
“Pie.” There he goes again.
I don’t know what’s the matter with him ..
Flight mein..then car main and even when we reached here he wouldn’t let me go.
Junior is being so clingy too…he needs to grip my shirt to sleep.
