Rose Sardana on joining the cast of Kundali Bhagya; says, “It is a challenge to enter an existing show”
Actress Rose Sardana, who was on a break from the small screen for the last two-and-a-half years, is now all set to be part of Kundali Bhagya. The actress, who is known for her role in TV shows like Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar was busy doing web shows and films. She was last seen in Drishyam 2.
Rose talked about joining the cast of Kundali Bhagya in a recent interview and said, “I did a few TV shows but then I started getting offers in web shows and films. It was a different experience from TV. While on the small screen, you play one role for a long time, in a web show or a film, your work is over within a few months and you have to look for a new project. I enjoy working in both mediums, but yes there is more scope to play different roles in the OTT space.”
Talking about her experience with Punjabi films, she said, “The Punjabi film industry is flourishing and there are many good opportunities there. I recently acted in a Luv Ranjan Punjabi film. I am glad that as actors we are able to explore different mediums now.”
Looking forward to her role in Kundali Bhagya, she said, “My reason to do the show was obviously Ekta Kapoor. She is producing the show and everyone wants to work with her. I am playing Sana Sayyad’s sister and it is a negative role. It will be a challenge to play this role because I am entering an existing show. And when you enter an existing show, either your role becomes so big or if you are not able to connect, you can easily be forgotten. So, I am hoping that people will like me in this role.”
