Popular actor Ronit Bose Roy is all set for a rejuvenating honeymoon experience following the renewal of his marital vows with wife Neelam on their momentous 20th wedding anniversary. Expressing his delight, Ronit shared, “It’s wonderful to have the chance to embark on a honeymoon again! Neelam’s favorite destinations include Amsterdam and Gstaad. Although it might seem peculiar to have a second honeymoon, all these years, we’ve never traveled without our children. Now, we’re planning to change that as my daughter is studying in Los Angeles, and my son will soon be heading abroad too.”
Revealing details about the ceremonious occasion held at their Goa farmhouse, Ronit said, “It was a dream come true. Neelam had long wished to renew our wedding vows, and I was equally enthusiastic. We frequently perform rituals at the temple on our Goa property, and Neelam expressed her desire to exchange vows there. Thus, during this trip, we decided to recommit. Her family’s surprise presence was a joy for her, and even my mother, who rarely ventures out, came to bless us. Our children joked about missing our initial wedding but were elated to witness their parents tying the knot again.”
Ronit and Neelam tied the knot in 2003. Reflecting on their journey together, he shared, “We dated for three years before marriage. Neelam had expressed her aspirations then, saying, ‘I want to marry, have children, and be a homemaker.’ Managing the household and being a homemaker is a significant responsibility.” He further added, “Like any couple, we encounter our share of challenges and disagreements, but resolving them has only strengthened our marriage. Neelam has been an unwavering support, which is why I believe I could marry her repeatedly.” Prior to marrying Neelam, Ronit was married and had a daughter from his first marriage.
