Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, which was launched on January 3 this year, is all set to go off-air soon. Riya Bhattacharje, who essays a negative role in the show talked about it during a recent interview with BT and shared, “It is upsetting when a show ends in just seven months.”
She added, “Every good journey comes to an end and one has to accept it and move on in life because chalati ka naam hi zindagi hai. The journey of the show was short-lived, but I loved every part of it. It’s upsetting for me and everyone else when a show ends in just a few months. It can be shocking for some too.”
When asked about his opinion on what led to the show going off-air in just a few months, she replied, “There can be many reasons for a show going off air. So we can’t blame anyone. I am happy with the fact that we had a lovely team that worked hard to make the show interesting. I have bonded well with all my co-actors and there have been some beautiful memories that I will always cherish. I am grateful to have got an opportunity to work with these actors who turned into my family. I am going to miss everyone and everything about this show.”
Talking about her future plans, Riya shared, “Now that my show is coming to an end, I am open to new projects. I am sure I will be back soon with some exciting and fresh work on screen. I wish to play strong and meaningful roles and I don’t want to limit myself to a particular character or medium. I want to be an actress who is open to every challenging character and every medium.”

Main reason toh aapka hi worst unwanted over-rated and more space to given your character hai.. you were villian for show but you took much screen share than leads… To show ka end hi hona tha
They had such a good story in the beginning it was so different and it wud have continued being awesome if gungun and he had to get married forecefully and she wud have to prorate for her exams as planned and then they wud fall in love slowly and golu trying to sabotage her exams and all it wud have been great .. don’t know why they thought public enjoys only negative stories and negative characters aakriti shud have never come into the show everything went wrong from there
After that nothing made sense gungun and him falling in love so soon without really spending time with each other then that sindoor ka stupid story I stopped watching long back but when I get bored read what’s going on hoping to see some good change but same bakwas all the time
