Rikara Heart Broken – Chapter 4

Om gets up from the sofa and heads to his room.

O(Thinking): I need to apologize to her but I need to find her out if she is safe. Shivaye, I know your protective side really well. If you sent her out, then you probably arranged her housing and travel arrangements. I need to find out where she went. But, how do I figure it out?

Om takes his phone and calls Khanna. Khanna comes inside Om’s room.

K: Sir??

O: I need to know if Shivaye sir asked you to place any tickets for a bus.

K: Sir, Shivaye sir, told me not to tell you anything. I cannot tell you.

Omkara goes up to him, eyes still red. Khanna looks at him, scared, that Omkara is going to yell at him. But, he does the unexpected. He holds his hands and places his head on it.

O: Please, Khanna. Gauri is all alone and I need to find her. She is all alone and she needs someone by her side. Please… help me.

Khanna turns around and Shivaye is outside. Om cannot see him though. Shivaye nods and Khanna starts to talk.

K: I will do this for you. He did not ask me to book tickets but…

O: But?

K: I saw him booking tickets online. Multiple tickets though…

O: Multiple tickets?? Does that mean she is going to go far away from me?

K: I am not sure but you can find out from his personal banking information.

O: Khanna, thank you so much. Fortunately, Shivaye uses the account that has all three of us as the holders for the family expenditures.

Khanna walks out and Shivaye smiles at him and walks in his room.

S: Annika, our plan is working. Om needs to realize how he feels without Gauri being here and he slowly is. He is trying to search for her now. The only problem with the plan was that Gauri was not sure where she wants to go so I took tickets for her from multiple places. Wherever she goes, Om will find her and they will for sure be united together.

Om goes through the bank accounts and finds the receipts of the tickets by hacking into Shivaye’s email. Shivaye changed the password to ShivOmRu just so Om thinks that he was hacking into his email.

O: What? There are altogether four tickets that were booked. A bus ride to Bareilly, a plane ticket to London, a train ticket to Chennai and a train ticket to Kochi. And there are not even connected? They go in different directions. Which one did she take?

Om quickly takes his jacket, knocking out several sculptures, and gets to the car.

O(Thinking): I need to first go to the airport as that is going to leave first and if Gauri leaves on that, then I will never be able to find her.

Om, speeding in his car, reaches the airport and runs to the front desk to find out if Gauri boarded the plane.

O: Hi, I am wondering if Gauri boarded this plane.

Front Desk Worker(F): Excuse me, sir. You need to be more specific.

O: The plane to London, I need to know if Gauri got onto that plane. It is going to leave in 20 minutes so please hurry up.

F: Sorry sir but that is confidential information. I cannot give the information.

O: I am her husband, Omkara Singh Oberoi (Taking out his identification card). I need to talk her immediately or she is going to miss out on something important in her life. Please, can you check if Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi is on the list?

F: Okay, sir (The worker checks.) No, sir, that name is not on the list.

O: What about Gauri Kumari Sharma? That is her maiden name, please check for me.

F(Checks again): There is a ticket registered that name but she has not checked in yet. Now that we have closed the gates, we will not be accepting any more people.

Om leaves and goes to the other locations and the same response.

O(Thinking): If Gauri did not go to these places, then where is she right now? Is she in danger? What do I do now?

Gauri was walking on the road with her bags.

G(Thinking): I am not going anywhere. I am going to stay in Mumbai. (Gauri rips the tickets apart) If I would have used one of the tickets, then bade Bhaiyya would have known where I am and send Omkaraji behind me….

Gauri walks and three men walk by her. The area was deserted so no one was there. They give her weird looks but Gauri just ignores them… she turns around to see three men following her.
