My RiKara Drabbles-#9-Measuring Love

“How much you love me?” Gauri asked staring at Omkara as she was folding some clothes and arranging them.

“Umm… I can’t explain in words…”Omkara replied as he was busy painting something.

“Huh…at all other times you can speak lines and lines but can’t tell me how much you love me that’s not fair… I don’t want to talk to you…”Gauri glared at Omkara as she threw away the cloth she was folding and left the room , angrily.

“Gauri…” A sad Omkara was left calling.

2 weeks later:

“Gauriii…” A scream escaped Omkara’s mouth as he saw a car speeding towards her, coming back from a shopping Mall, Omkara was taking out the car from parking area while Gauri was talking on phone with her friend walking at one side of the road, she didn’t see the car possibly driven by a drunk man, neither heard her husband’s scream.

Omkara ran towards Gauri as he pushed her to a side in the nick of time but himself came in front of the car.

“Omkaraaa…” Gauri screamed as she dropped her phone and ran to Omkara, the car halted as people surrounded Omkara and Gauri, though wounded badly, Omkara was still conscious.

“What you did?” Gauri was crying miserably.

“I saved my love…”Omkara smiled wiping her tears as he closed his eyes…forever.

He might have never been able to explain the depth of his love by words, he did it by action.

A/N: I know you all don’t like sad endings but this just came up in my mind…Hope you liked it.
