Vansh observed her expressions and as if he read her thoughts,

Vansh (thinking): Don’t worry Riddhima I won’t tell him about your interest to join today. I know how to handle him and now I have another plan to keep him away from you during office hours too.

Vansh: Yes Mr. Sharma. There’s a lot of work pending and I don’t think there’s any issue in joining today. She’ll be paid from today itself.

Riddhima was shocked to see Vansh not revealing her interest and was staring at him while Vansh being aware of her glares decided not to dare look at her and spoke

Kabir: But Mr. Singhania I thought she could join from tomorrow. She isn’t prepared to join today itself.

Vansh: It’s ok Mr. Sharma, she has to learn however so she can manage I guess. What’s the difference if it’s tomorrow or today. It’s the same right!

Kabir (thinking): What the heck!!! I decided to teach her a lesson today of not opening to anyone and if she does then forget her last memory of parents but now this person is hell-bent on not sending her with me now. What do I do to warn her!!!

Kabir (fake smile): Mr. Singhania actually we were having a plan of date today. You know we need to pamper our wives even after marriage to show them our love. So… if you could let her go for today, she’d be joining tomorrow

Vansh (thinking): I pretty well know that you aren’t taking her date or anything such you just want to hurt her but now you are facing me and am not going to let you do that

Vansh (fake smile): Mr. Sharma I can understand you want to take your wife for some special purpose maybe but now the application letter has been typed and now as per rules she has to join at any cost.

Kabir (thinking): I need to talk to her in person now!!!

Kabir: Oh okay! But can I take my wife for at least a few minutes to have a talk with her, I want to wish her.

Angre: I think it can be done here too right! I didn’t mean to sound offensive but it’s an office so talking personally would create a bad vibe and it’s not encouraged here. So, Mr. Sharma don’t mind but the etiquettes are to be followed right.

Kabir gave a fake smile and hugged Riddhima shocking her, Vansh, and Angre! Vansh understood he is threatening her

Kabir (whisper): Dare you to open about your personal life with anyone here and speak with any males. In fact, dare you to speak with anyone here. And answer my call when I call you in few minutes varna remember that what I’d do to you tonight (warning)

Riddhima was gasping and Angre including Vansh observed this and were trying hard not to react. Kabir broke the hug and

Kabir: All the best darling. Take care. We’d have a celebration after your office hours. And yes if there’s anything you can call me anytime. You know it right!!

Vansh: Am sorry to interrupt Mr & Mrs. Sharma but I forgot to mention that personal calls, messages, or meetings aren’t allowed during office hours. The office has certain rules and regulations which are to be followed by every employee at any cost varna severe action would be taken (smirk)

Kabir (shock) (thinking): Do hell with the rules! I can’t even meet her then and warn her by calling her every now and then!!! (angry)

Kabir: But Mr. Singhania, she’s an introvert and she isn’t comfortable with anyone except me so she might need me

Vansh: Mr. Sharma everyone gets a chance in life when they are exposed to the outer world which would help them explore themselves so just assume that this is Mrs. Riddhima’s chance and being her husband don’t you think you need to encourage her rather than creating nervousness in her!

Kabir (thinking): What do I do now! She has to work so that she gets money home, OMG!! 60,000 bucks aren’t a less amount which is almost equal to mine. If she works here I could get her money too. And then vaise bhi she’s going to be in my control as her life, her parent’s memory, her house is in my clutches she won’t dare cross her limits. I think I should let her work here to sponsor my lavish life. But f**k damn!!! The company rules are such a f**king mess. And vaise bhi I just need to warn her to shut her blo*dy mouth am not that desperate husband who loves his wife and can’t live away from her that I’d be calling her now and then. Me and love (laughing mentally) and that too this trash can, NEVER!! I just need her that property which costs crores now and of which she isn’t aware yet. Isliye toh mom and dad tied me with this dumbass for her that house. It’s ok, I can show her what I am and what I can do in the morning and at nights after office hours vaise bhi I need her at nights varna I can’t live without satisfying my hunger for her body and her screams give me peace and I just love to thrust her in and out as she cries. Acha Kabir come out of your bed and her as you are in her office now. Divert your attention and pretend to be that lovey-dovey caring husband and leave from here, vaise toh she’s going to come to your bed at night. (smirk)

Kabir: I think you are right Mr. Singhania, I’d take your leave now and darling (eying Riddhima) I’d come to pick you in the evening. Just call me after your work. OK???

Riddhima just nodded when Angre interrupted

Angre: Sorry to interrupt Mr. Sharma, but I don’t think you need to take any stress and her timings are going to differ so she’d be dropped home safely. You need not worry. Her safety is our priority

Kabir (fake smiling): Oh Yeaa!! I forgot!

He gently gave her a warning with his eyes before leaving from there. As soon as they saw him leaving, all sighed a relief while all this while Aryan who heard their conversation through EarPods was smirking. But somewhere Riddhima was wondering

Riddhima (thinking): Why didn’t sir reveal that I wanted to work from today, did he know my truth? Is the job a pity on me? No, no I think am overreacting, he might have just said that as he is assuming that am an introvert as presented by my so-called husband. So, he might have assumed that I may get used to the surroundings isliye he didn’t reveal my intention to work from now. Whatever, it’s for my betterment as now I don’t need to face his grudge and thankfully no personal messages, calls, and meetings so Kabir won’t call me to threaten me and the time I’d be here would be my time. The time I could develop myself. I could be away from that beast for a while at least!!! I just hope this opportunity is utilized for my safety and to earn my self–respect again so that I can stand for myself.

Breaking her thoughts Angre spoke

Angre: Riddhima, come I’ll show you your cabin.

Riddhima nodded and left along with Angre while Vansh was glaring at her retreating figure with a slight smile that crept on his lips.

Vansh: You have faced many troubles in your life now it’s time for some happiness and I’ll make sure you get your share of happiness soon. In fact, the way to happiness has been paved and it’s just that you are supposed to step on it. And yes this way is paved with soft petals of roses and don’t worry there isn’t a single thorn too which might hurt you. You deserve a life where you’d be living a life of Queen not a slave to some bastard or demon. And today I, Vansh Rai Singhania promises to myself to give you that life soon.
