Am so sorry for not updating earlier. Am unwell and couldn’t work on the updates. But got many requests so with much difficulty am giving the update. I hope you’ll understand and consider me for late updates and a short one too. Most probably I’d be giving longer and regular updates once am fit and fine

Aryan: I know I can understand what uncle is going through. We know what she meant to him after uncle and aunty’s death. And after your mom’s death, she was the only person who looked after him. She was no less than you to him and you remember when she was getting married, uncle cried more than us. During kanyadan too he and Riddhu shared an emotional bond. Uncle was the most happiest at the wedding as if his own daughter achieved something great in life. But ….. but then neither did Riddhu nor we all know what the future had for her. Now I repent for letting that wedding happen.

Sejal: I remember that was the most beautiful day in our lives because I saw her smiling after years wholeheartedly but now…. Now her face lost its charm and her smile…. Her smile is lost Aryan! I can’t see her this way. If dad sees her this way then he can’t handle her. Isliye I tried a lot to stop him last night. I had to give him sleeping pills to calm his anxiety and anger on Kabir. Am afraid!! Subah bhi he was adamant to come but I with much difficulty stopped him but am not sure till when I can stop him.

Aryan: You don’t worry I’ll come home and try to explain to him and maybe after few days he can meet her. In fact, Mom’s condition is no different. She was adamant to meet her and bring her back to a home where she has us as her family. We both know after uncle and aunty’s death she had only us as her family and after we moved to Mumbai, she was their son and daughter as she was filling our absence in our parents’ lives. They have that bond which we lack with our parents, she’s the ray of life in their lives. I think we need to convince them before they meet her in this condition. I’ll get mom to uncle tonight and then we shall convince them to wait for a while before meeting her, varna she’ll break even more and we can’t handle uncle and mom too.

They were talking about Riddhima unaware that two pairs of eyes and ears were seeing and listening to their conversation. They were Vansh and Angre who reached the cabin and heard everything. Unaware of him Vansh had a small smile with pain in his heart. He was adamant to take away all her pain at any cost by hook or crook. He wants to fill her life with full of happiness and get her rid of her monster husband. Breaking his thoughts and the reverie of Sejal and Aryan, his phone rang and Aryan and Sejal turned towards the noise to find them. Sejal stood wiping her tears and they entered the cabin

Sejal: Good morning sir

She wished Angre and Vansh who nodded and she glared at Aryan and he gestured so she left for her cubicle. Once she was out there was utter silence none spoke when they saw Sejal barging into the cabin which shocked the trio, she was panting

Aryan: Seju what happened? (worried)

Sejal (panting): Rid… Riddhima… (taking long breaths) Aryan Kabir is here with Riddhima

Aryan’s eyes popped out of the socket, in fact, Vansh and Angre too gasped shocked.

Aryan: What the heck! Is he following her!

Sejal: Aryan I don’t know that but definitely he’ll screw her if he finds us here. We need to go to my cubicle.

Aryan glared at Vansh and he gestured which Sejal didn’t understand as she assumed that they aren’t aware of her ordeal. Vansh messages something to Aryan as he didn’t want Sejal to learn that they are aware of Riddhima

Vansh: Aryan you go with Sejal, and I’ll be on call with you through EarPods and you can hear. I’ll handle Kabir don’t worry.

Aryan who read it nodded and holding Sejal’s hand they reached her cubicle making sure Kabir didn’t see them. Vansh and Angre settled themselves and tried to calm themselves because they were aware that they might smack him on the spot making sure he won’t get up again.

They heard a knock and they understood who it was, composing themselves, Vansh spoke

Vansh: Come in (firm tone but low volume)

The door opened to find Riddhima clad in a simple peach-colored chikan kurta and white palazzo. Vansh’s heart skipped a beat, the reason he didn’t know. His eyes were glued on her unaware of the reason. His eyes were laid on her legs and then slowly moving towards her hands which now covered all her bruises as she wantedly wore 3/4^th hands. Still, her collar bone was visible and it had some marks on it and then on lips, the previous scar was a bit darker indicating she was beaten last night. His expressions changed the moment he saw another figure entering his cabin and he realized who it was. He saw the fear, in her eyes which proved who that uninvited guest was, he took a long breath and glared at Angre who gasped before speaking

Angre: Mrs. Riddhima please take your seat

Angre (turning towards Kabir): And may I know who you are? If you are here to meet us then please do wait outside we’ll call you after this meeting

He showed him the way out with anger pouring from his eyes which he was trying to control and Vansh had a small smirk on his lips which suddenly faded when Kabir with a pissing smile on his face took a step forward and grabbed Riddhima’s waist shocking the trio (Angre, Vansh, and Riddhima herself). Vansh and Angre were boiling with rage while Riddhima had fear in her eyes but was trying to smile with pain clearly visible in her smile. Vansh’s eyes followed Kabir’s hand and to his utter shock, he was pinching her on her waist and giving stern looks which he expected none observed but Vansh was giving him dagger looks. Angre lost cool

Angre: Excuse me!!

Vansh held Angre’s hand gesturing him to not lose his cool,

Kabir (smiling): Am, …. Darling won’t you introduce me!!

Vansh once again followed his gaze and saw him holding her waist tight as if he’s pressing it tight trying to give her utter pain. Vansh was losing his cool now and then his eyes fell on Riddhima who was trying harder to control her tears.

Riddhima: Sir,…. He…is my Husband Kabir

Vansh realized her voice had pain which she was trying to hide behind her fake innocent smile. His heart wanted to crush that Kabir on the spot for hurting her

Kabir (smiling): Am inspector Kabir Sharma. Vo actually she’s a bit shy person, doesn’t mingle with everyone and is afraid too. So, am here to give her company.

Without any choice left as they know he isn’t going to leave her alone, Vansh finally spoke

Vansh: Nice meeting you Mr. Sharma. Please take your seat.

Kabir led her to sit still holding her waist, pulling the chair he made her sit. Seeing his this fake over caring, Angre and Vansh were rolling their eyes.

Vansh (taking a long breath): So, Mrs. Sharma am Vansh Rai Singhania and this is Angre. We both are going to be your superiors and none else. We used to have a PA who used to take care of us both but then it was turning out to be a bit tough so we decided to get another and here you got it. Coming to timings you need to work until am in the office and if needed even after that. You are supposed to follow me everywhere to meetings and at times even to trips. Because wherever I go Angre too follows so does his PA. (eying Kabir) You’ll have a drop and pickup facility. You need to be in the office before I come and check the daily schedule, so, you’d be reporting to the office by 9 am sharp. And coming to salary it’d be (eying Kabir and smirking) 60,000 per month and extra when doing over duty. You’d be getting incentives and bonuses too which you’d get to know as you start working. And if you have any doubts you can ask

Riddhima: Thank you sir but I don’t have any ….

Vansh was observing her as she suddenly jerked as if she felt pain, he gently raised his head to see where Kabir’s hand was and then he saw him pinching her on thighs. His eyes boiled in rage as she was trying to hide her pain in her slight smile
