Author’s pov

Vansh was working on his laptop when he received a call, He picked it.

V: Yes? Any updates? 

The person: No, Nothing was found, we were searching for 3 years, but couldn’t get any clue. 

V(sigh): Ok, By; 

He put his phone but it started ringing again. 

V: Hello

The other person was just breathing which made his heart skip a beat.

V: Riddhima? 

R: Yes, It’s me.

V: where were you? I was

R(rudely): I don’t have time for all this nonsense. (cried) He is kidnapped, save him, please. 

V: Save who? 

R: Riansh!

V: !!!!!

R: My son 

V(shouts): WHat? 

R(angrily): I told you to save him, someone took my son, I couldn’t do anything. I am forced to take your help, or else if it was for my safety, I would have died and not take your support. 

V(closed his eyes in pain): Riddhima, where are you? 

R: I will text you the address. 

She hanged up the phone while he took his car’s keys and ran to the address.

Riddhima’s house

She was hugging her baby’s clothes while sobbing, The only reason for which she kept smiling, and she can’t take it if anything happened to her baby. She even agreed to take the help of the man who insulted her love and played her emotions. She heard the knocks on the door which made her hurry to open it. It was Vansh who hugged her the moment he saw her. 

V: Thank God, I found you, You vanished suddenly and I was (as an answer she pushed him away with a disgusted look)

R: Don’t lay your finger on me, I hate you, don’t forget it? You are here just to bring back my baby and then get lost away from my life. 

V: Riddhima, you don’t understand

R: I understand one thing, your betrayal, which I kept in my mind every day during these years. Believe me, I would have never uttered your name again, if it wasn’t for Riansh’s well being. So bring him back to me, He is so small, (cried) I don’t know what they are doing to him.

V(to himself): I searched everywhere for her, but couldn’t find her, Today, I got to know that I have a son, but who dared to kidnap him. For the time being, I have to find him, then I am going to bear her allegations happily.

V(trying to get a grip on himself): where did you lose him? 

R: Today, I had to take him for vaccination, we were at the hospital but someone attacked me and took him.

V: and Nobody helped you? 

R: He tried his best to help but the kidnapper was faster than him. 

V: He? Who is he? 

Man: Main

Vansh raised his eyebrow feeling jealous of the unknown man who is inside her house. 

V: And who’re you? 

Man: many things, But the most important part is that I am always with Riddhima.

R: He is Adarsh, He followed the kidnapper and tried to fight him however couldn’t.

V: is he? Good, Now, you don’t need to worry, Adarsh (he gritted his teeth while uttering his name which made Adarsh smirked) 

Ada: Is it, Riddhima? 

R(glaring at Vansh): Not at all, I am still need you here, You were always present in the worst phases of my life, and you’ll remain very important. but now (shedding tears) my baby 

Ad: Don’t worry, he’ll be fine.

Vansh took out his phone and dialed a number. 

V: Hello? Angrey? please leave everything there and investigate, in ***** hospital, My son was kidnapped today 

Ang: Your son? Boss, are you fine? Which son? 

V: angrey, stop asking, I will tell you la(Riddhima snatched the phone from him)

R: hello

Ang: Babhi? 

R: no, I am Riddhima, not your babhi, Angrey I had always seen as my brother, please save my son, He was wearing a blue shirt and black shorts, with a blue hat & a white shoes.

Ang: I will check and do the best I can to find him, just trust me Ba I mean Riddhima.

R: Thank you (she gave the phone to Vansh and sat waiting for Angrey’s reply while holding her baby’s pic near her heart, and he sat near her taking the pic)

V(caressing the baby”s pic with tears): He has your eyes, but my hair, Was I that bad Riddhima that you didn’t inform me? 

R(with tears): Let’s not discuss this now, I can’t live without him. 

He side hugged her trying to calm her down and she surrendered to the pain of the helpless state in which she was. 

Four hours passed with them waiting for any news, but in vain. 

R: I can’t take it anymore, I will go and look for him myself. 

V(tried to stop her): Riddhima, where are you going? 

R(pushed him away): He is my son, I should have known that you are not a good father too, not only a bad husband. You don’t care about my baby. I shouldn’t have called you. 

V(hurt): He is my son too, How can you think this way?  I will give up anything to save him. 

R: You know only one thing and it’s giving people pain. I am going and no one will stop me. 

She moved and her phone rang, she picked up the phone hurriedly. 

R: hello? 

Man: Give him the phone

R: Who? 

Man: Vansh Raisinghania

R(shocked looking at Vansh): How did you know that he is here? 

Man: Do You want your son or not? 

Riddhima gave the phone to Vansh stunned to react, He questions her and shook her to get her back to her senses. 

R(pale): The kidnapper knows you. 

V(wide eyes): What? (taking the phone) Hello

Man: Raisinghania, If you still want your son, You have to prepare the ransom tonight. 

The phone was on speaker, Riddhima fell on the floor when she heard what the kidnapper said.

V: How much? 

Man: *** in this address **

R(thunderstruck): Ransom! 

Adarsh kneeled near her and put his hand on her shoulder and she sobbed bitterly. 

R(broken): Adarsh, My son, I want him back, Please, someone, do something!

Vansh cupped her face between his hands promising her. 

V: I promise you to not let anything happen to him, No one will touch him, Ok? Keep your faith in me. 

R: One time before I had already bored the pain of being betrayed by you, you wanted to kill me, SO what will assure me that you are not doing it again now?
