She lifts up her hand and slapped me hard that I was about to fall, I looked at her in tears and run to my room. I closed the door and sat crying. My child! He will be humiliated as his mother. 

A few days later

They were celebrating The baby shower for Ishaani, The mansion was wonderfully decorated and many guests were there. One by one, they gave her gifts, Riddhima feeling happy for Ishaani came and extended her hand to give her a gift only to find her present thrown on the floor in front of all people.

She moved to Sia’s room, She was still unconscious since the incident, and held her hand.

The machines started indicating something wrong, and they came running to Sia’s room along with the nurse.

V(in anger): what did you do to my sister? (throwing her out) You really have a death wish, Just f*** off.

She just ran from there to her room and decided to leave the house.

Vansh was super worried about his sister’s health but to his surprise, The doctor declared that Sia woke up. They hurried inside and found her eyes opened.

He took her in his arms with affection, while Sia smiled weakly at her brother. Then Ishaani and dadi hugged her too.

D: My child, Finally you are awake, we were so anxious.

I: Sia, I missed you so much.

Ang: Sia, Thank god you’re alright, Ishaani was always saying how much she missed you.

But sia was trying to find someone with her eyes, Angrey noticed her ad spoke.

Ang: You are searching for babhi? 

They glared at him but to their shock, she nodded her head positively.

V: You know her truth, why you want to see her? 

She frowned and indicated to him to come closer.

S: Ba..bhi Inn..oc..ent

V: Innocent? 

She moved her head which means “yes”.

S: Th..e..y Tr…a…p..p..ed H…er

She was struggling to talk but Vansh got her message with terrified expressions.

S: p…r..e..g..n..a..nt

V(in horror): Riddhima??

S: H..A

All of them were highly thunderstruck to show a reaction, But dadi recovered from her state.

D: It means we were wrong about her? She didn’t do it deliberately, They fooled her. (shaking Vansh to bring him back to reality) she is pregnant! we wronged her, Go to her.

He ran to his room and found her with her suitcase with blank expressions.

V: Riddhima, don’t leave please, I am sorry, I didn’t know about your innocence; I agree I am at fault but please give me a chance to mend everything between us.

She didn’t react as if she didn’t hear what he said, and he continued.

V: I want you and our child(a tear fell down her cheek), I will do anything for you both, I promise, I will even die for you.

He hugged her but she was like a stone in his arms, but it doesn’t stop him.

V: Please do you want our child to be without his dad? ANd I can’t live without you, I agree that I was so heartless and harsh on you, but It was a misunderstanding.

R(keeping a distance from him and talked to her baby): Baby, just for you, I will stay, I know what’s the life of an orphan.

He looked at her expressions, she has an emptiness in her eyes.

V: Riddhima? 

She didn’t answer him and the family came too to their room.

D: Riddhima my child? 

No answer

I: Riddhima, I am sorry too.

She was looking at nowhere as if they don’t exist there, and they gave up after few attempts to talk with her.

V: Riddhima, when will be your checkup? 

She didn’t answer him again, and he sigh.

V: I will talk to the gynecologist for an appointment. Did you have your food? Do you crave something?

She was craving for Pizza but she didn’t want to be a burden on someone else, as she is already despising herself for being compelled to stay here. If only she hasn’t known how orphans feel, she would have not stayed even for a second.

Receiving no response, he disappeared for an hour and then came back with many plates.

V: I didn’t know what you crave, but Ishaani told me that maybe you’ll want to have these plates. come to eat.

She nodded in negative and he frowned.

V: you don’t like it? 

She again signs no.

V: Then? do you want yourself to fall sick? You don’t want me here to eat, I will go out, please have your food.

She stood up and went to the kitchen, he followed her to know what she was intending to do.

She started cooking for herself and suddenly she smiled and looked at her tummy.

R: My baby, do you love pizza? Usually, I don’t like it, so you are the opposite of me.

V( smiled and approached her): I love it too, He took after me.

She continued her work without stopping and then she served herself and sat to eat with a smile on her face.

5 days passed with Vansh trying to pacify her, however, she did everything for herself. She didn’t talk with him. He regretted hurting her and pushing her to that state especially when the doctor declared that she suffers severe depression and needs proper care to recover.

She was in the kitchen and when she returned to her room, she was welcomed by the darkness and started feeling afraid.

I missed this fierce Riddhima who threw the resignation letter on my face with full self-confidence.

The girl with whom I got married promised to give me an interesting life with a full attitude.

The girl who is always answering me back without any fear.

V(took her in his arms): I really miss you, Riddhima, I miss your voice. shout on me, hit me but please don’t stand like a statue here. I will bear anything for you.
