Episode starts with….
Late in the night, Vansh’s sleep broke as Riddhima was shouting in her sleep,
Riddhima: No….. (sweating) NO,…… don’t please don….. don’t!!!!! NO!!!!
Vansh (concerned): Riddhima, Riddhima am here; it’s just a bad dream!!! Sweetheart open your eyes it’s a dream
But Riddhima all panicked was sweating profusely murmuring as if asking someone not to approach her. Vansh was desperately trying to wake her up and after many such attempts, finally, she opened her eyes in a jerk examining her surroundings. Her trance broke when Vansh held her shoulder gently, turning around abruptly afraid, she faced Vansh’s concern-filled eyes, instantly wrapping herself onto him, she snuggled into him letting her tears flood his shirt. When he realized her cries turned into sobs, he spoke
Vansh: Shh…. Riddhu, it’s just a dream, you had a nightmare. Relax!!!!
Breaking the hug, she turned her head negatively as if objecting to his statement,
Riddhima (afraid): No…. No Vansh…. it…. it wasn’t a dream, it …… it was the….. (Crying) darkest …… darkest night of my life!!!!! Its…… it’s my life’s bitter reality
Vansh (shock): Riddhima!!!!
Riddhima: Yes Vansh….. I got ….. flashes of that night.
Hugging him tightly
Riddhima: Am….. am afraid Vansh!!!! Am afraid!!!! I don’t want any memories of that night. Am afraid to face that night!!!! Please …. please help me …. help me Vansh!!! Help me to get over that night and its memories.
Before he could reply to her, the exhaustion took her to deep slumber in his arms; sighing at the sleeping petite figure in his arms who’s afraid of that night!!!! Hugging her, he laid back on the bed with his thoughts drifting to the past memories and that night which according to Riddhima is darkest….. but he was wondering if it is!!!! Unaware even he too drift to sleep with many thoughts playing in his mind and heart!!!!
The faint chirping of birds was disturbing when golden rays of sunshine fell on the love birds who were in their own dreamland in each other’s embrace. Vansh opened his eyes to find his lifeline sleeping peacefully; he snuggled more into her and drift into thoughts
Vansh (thinking): A beautiful morning tells in various beautiful ways that every day of our life is a new beginning and now am afraid of what new beginning today’s day has in its store. …. I know am risking something for something but….. but is it worth…. yes obviously because I need that person out of the jail as that person isn’t at fault and for that am risking something or should I say almost betraying someone by hiding this matter and …. and this is going to cost me something precious!!!!!
Kissing Riddhima’s forehead, who still lay on his chest; he went to fresh up, and all the while in the shower he was all worried for the case and its verdict. He came out and was near the dressing drowned in the thoughts for the day when he felt two hands snake onto him from behind and a petite personality sleeping over his back; a smile crept over his lips and he clutched the hands and kissed them in the same posture.
Vansh: Good Morning Sweetheart
Riddhima: Good Morning… Where are you going this early?
Vansh: A hectic day Riddhu; so, had to …. vaise
Turning around and hugging her; while she wrapped her arms around her torso and lay her head on his chest with sleepy eyes
Vansh: Is it possible for you to come to the office today?
She lift her head and raised her eyebrows
Vansh: Vo actually we are in search of a PA for Kabir so have interviews in the office for that and I have another meeting to attend so I can’t attend them and Kabir alone handling it is a bit difficult so if you can…
Riddhima: Oh, okay… vaise bhi today is my off so I’d come with you both and I’ll help Kabir in that but I don’t know right… who’s apt (pouting)
Vansh: That’s great (smiling) Don’t worry about that Shreya or Ritu will help you… I’ll ask them to so you just need to be there and understand who’d handle Kabir and his work.. and even Kabir would be there so no worries
Riddhima: Perfect!!! I’d fresh up and come then we shall go
Vansh: I’d be waiting
She quickly left to fresh up while Vansh was still lost in his own thoughts. After breakfast the trio left towards the office and Shreya was asked to help Riddhima and Vansh wanted to go to the court but then an important meeting came which can’t be ignored or postponed so helplessly he went to the designated destination for the meeting but his mind was only in the courtroom. He tried reaching his advocate and the prosecution too but none answered to either his messages or calls making him freak of consequences.
Its 2pm, VR Enterprises;
Kabir was attending some meetings while Riddhima with help of Shreya was taking interviews; of total of 40 applicants, she was done with 30 and was now going through the last set of candidates. Keeping aside the applications of applicants she felt to be apt she was engrossed in asking them some questions when there came Kabir completing his meetings
Kabir: Hey
Riddhima (tired): Hi….
Kabir (smiling): Shreya you go; I’ll be here. Thank you
Shreya (smiling): It’s ok sir
Once Shreya left; Kabir took her seat and sat beside Riddhima and she leaned over his shoulders
Riddhima (making face): Can’t you sort only a few applicants of all these!!!
Kabir (chuckling): These are the results of sorting out the received applications. Acha Chalo; now I’ll look after the left out. Till then have these
He forwards a box of chocolates which she instantly grabbed it and was munching it while Kabir was taking the interviews of the candidates; after almost 6 candidates a woman/girl entered and when she saw Riddhima there beside Kabir all engrossed in eating her chocolates
: (shocked) Riddhima!!
Listening to her name Riddhima lift her head from her chocolate while Kabir was glaring at her shocked as if how that lady knows Riddhima.
Riddhima (shock) (curious and happy): Ahana!!!!
Riddhima and Ahana shared a genuine smile
Ahana: How come you here?
Riddhima: I need to ask this.. how come you here?
Ahana: Vo actually am here for the interview but I didn’t know you’d be the interviewer
Riddhima (chuckling): Even I didn’t…
Kabir (hesitating): Riddhima… even am here. Can anyone tell what’s happening here?
Ahana’s eyes met Kabir’s and realized that even he was there except Riddhima; she instantly passed a smile which was reciprocated
Riddhima: Arrey Kabir; she’s Ahana….
Kabir: That I know …. but how do you know her? (Ahana) Ms. Ahana please take your seat
Ahana smiled and sat on the chair when Riddhima spoke
Riddhima: Vo; the other day we went to a restaurant for lunch and there I tripped over her making her juice spill over her dress and so we met vahi pe
Kabir: One second (raising eyebrows)… you went to lunch yesterday with whom?
Riddhima (hitting his head): Idiot… of course with Vansh….
Kabir: Acha Tabhi sochoo; how you both got wet…. in rain (wink)
Riddhima (making face): Let’s start the interview? Ahana is waiting
Kabir bit his tongue and composing himself he started taking her interview. Once done; she left the room and was asked to wait. After a while; when all the interviews are done; they realized that 10 applications were shortlisted and so the remaining were asked to move while those 10 were once again interviewed and finally Ahana was selected
Kabir: Lo, your friend seems to be the apt now
Riddhima: Hey she isn’t my friend yet; I just know her. Acha Chalo I’ll go and inform her while you pack everything; am so tired. I want to leave soon
Kabir nodded while Riddhima left towards the waiting room and Shreya by then asked everyone to move except Ahana by then Riddhima too reached
Riddhima: Hey Ahana; congratulations you are selected
Ahana (elated): OMG!! Thank you so much Riddhima….
Ahana: Vo.. actually, I had a doubt…
Riddhima: Ha ask
Ahana: For whom am I supposed to work as PA?
Riddhima (smiling): Kabir…. Kabir Rai Singhania; the one who took your interview
Ahana (shock): Oh God!!!! Can…. can I ask you something?
Riddhima (suspicious): Yea
Ahana: Look, I don’t know if am being too open with you or taking advantage …. but as I know you; I wanted to clarify my doubt…. because of my previous job experiences….
Riddhima (smiling): Ahana, relax and ask what you wanted to ask
Ahana: Is… is he ok? I … I mean how’s his character… don’t get me wrong as I had a bitter experience with a wrong boss in my previous workplace leading me to leave it so… am … am just afraid
Riddhima (smiling): Ahana, you can trust me in this….. Kabir isn’t someone who’d take advantage of women; he’s a kind man and he isn’t going to be a bossy personality with anyone instead he’d be friendly and I assure you, you aren’t going to face such experiences in VR Enterprises
Ahana (smiling): Thank you
Kabir in his cabin was thinking
Kabir (thinking): I did my best in stopping her in lieu of interviews and selections from going to court and bhai was right, she didn’t even have any knowledge of the hearing being the final today. I just hope she didn’t smell anything fishy in our behavior. Now, I just hope the hearing is done and the verdict is in our favor. I think we need to move home bhai too might have reached there with that person.
