Episode starts with…
Gagan: Mr. Rai Singhania we are here to take the statement of Ms. Riddhima
Vansh stared back at Riddhima asking with his eyes if she’s comfortable and she nodded yes
Vansh: Okay officer, you can
Angre and Rudra sat on either side of Riddhima, holding her hands giving her support to reminisce those bitter moments. Vansh stood beside Angre. Riddhima started reminiscing how the events took place from the middle of the night when she was kidnapped and then events followed of how they hurt her; how they revealed their planning of months and how she sent the location to Vansh and him reaching there finally to save her. All this while Rudra and Angre supported her as she was literally weeping of those memories while Gagan and his mate have taken her statement. Vansh was gritting his teeth and his hand turned into a fist. Anupriya was crying about the torture a pure soul faced because of her son; Ishani was supporting her. Riddhima stared at Anupriya and could understand what she might be going through; she felt awful but didn’t know how to console her
Vansh: What about them? Did you get hold of them?
Gagan turned to Vansh and was observing everyone’s glares on him including Riddhima and Anupriya; who were curious to know if they were caught or not. Gagan was skeptical but Vansh gestured him to speak
Gagan: That night when they ran off our clutches; we followed them but…
(Flashback Starts)
(Episode 77)
Vansh approached Kabir and started kicking and bashing him while he tried to protest but all his punches go in the air. Vansh was smirking and was about to fire at him when Ragini came in between him and Kabir
Ragini: Don’t you dare Vansh! Dare you try to do more!! I have had many insults of Kabir now not anymore! I’ll kill you if you dare to hurt him
Vansh: Officer even after seeing the open warning you are silent? Don’t you think you need to drag her out of my sight!!! (smirk)
Ragini: Don’t you dare touch me! Am not going anywhere leaving my Kabir here
She held Kabir and he was protecting her from the officer hands which were approaching her to drag her out, Kabir held her hand assuring that he’ll never let her to be separated from each other again, and then finding an opportunity he dragged her out of the room and they ran… they ran trying to get rid of their clutches. Officers followed them but in a few minutes of chasing the injured; they couldn’t reach them as they vanished in thin air.
(Present)
Gagan: Later we circulated their pics around all the stations and after whole 3 days last night we got a call from Dharavi. A person called us informing us that a man and a woman came to their local dispensary and they have bullet wounds; suspicious of their identity, he informed us. Taking it as another case we reached the dispensary to find Ragini & Kabir. Our presence there was unexpected to the duo and though we encircled them; they tried to give us a miss and run away and in fact succeeded too.
(Flashback Starts)
But least did they know that they were being chased by the police force with many shots being shot for them which they were almost trying to escape but seems like their luck didn’t favor them…..As in a split second, they were on the ground with their hands entangled in each other’s hands with blood oozing from their backs. They were trying to catch their breaths but they were having difficulty in that and they could see their eyes shut automatically and the last person they saw was their love and ….. and ….. and shut!!!! Their eyes shut forever!!!!
(Present)
The duo loved each other with their everything; their love was true but their ego and belief in one side of the story made their life upside down. Only if they tried to learn the truth behind their baseless revenge; maybe today they’d have had a family who loved them immensely even if they didn’t belong to them; they’d have been married to each other and might have even had a family of theirs. But they chose a revengeful life where they didn’t find any happiness but lost each other in the end. Their this revenge snatched their happiness; their family; it even snatched their love too, making them lose their lives.
Gagan: They were shot dead in an encounter last night!!!!
There was all silence with eyes widened in shock; none could believe that Ragini & Kabir died last night. The first to react was Anupriya; the news of her son whom she loved immensely, who was snatched from her by her devil husband, who meant her everything, whom she searched day and night everywhere, whom she met years after and then the way he hated her but still she loved him; the news of him passing away came as a shocker that she couldn’t take it. She collapsed on the ground with everyone including Riddhima rushing to her. She was inconsolable… after all, she’s a mother right! Which mother will be happy to learn the news of her child’s death!! Anupriya was shedding tears making everyone’s eyes moist. Vansh gestured for Gagan to move and he’d meet them soon. After a while when Anupriya regained senses; she wiped her tears and went into the lawn; Ishani was about to follow but Vansh stopped her
Vansh: Ishani, let Chachi be alone for a while; she’ll be fine
He saw Riddhima moving out stumbling; he held her before she fell
Vansh: Riddhima, where are you going?
Riddhima: Vansh Anupriya aunty needs someone…
Vansh: Riddhima, I know her she’s broke, she’d be fine if she’s let to be alone for a while
Riddhima: Vansh, maybe you know her more than me but I can see that she needs someone who’d listen to her without judging; who’d get attached to her past through her eyes…. and she doesn’t know that am aware of the truth so let me go… she’ll be fine.
Angre was about to stop her but Vansh gestured him no and let Riddhima go. She went into the lawn to find Anupriya sitting on a bench and staring at the sky; she felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to find Riddhima.
Anupriya: Riddhima, beta why did you come here!!! You are hurt… come sit here
Riddhima sat beside her while Anupriya was making sure not to vent her emotions out.
Riddhima: Aunty, you can share your feelings with me … I … I know Kabir is… your son
Anupriya: Riddhima,… I don’t know what do I speak… first, my son Aryan hurt you, and then Kabir hurt you… I feel am to be blamed as (crying) both my kids hurt you and the reason for one is purely me
Riddhima: No aunty, it’s not at all your fault
Anupriya: No beta, it is…. if at all that night I gave the money to my that husband, then today Kabir wouldn’t have hated me … Our’s was a forced marriage…. he wanted me and forced me to marry him by threatening to kill my parents. Back then he used to work in a factory but within a few months of marriage he lost his job as the factory was shut; this led to him getting addicted to alcohol. And in this span I got to know I was pregnant; he didn’t get any job being an alcoholic so for livelihood I started working doing odd works; as a maid, used to sell flowers, used to guard footwear near religious centers and at night used to take tuitions for our chawl’s kids. Even after doing all these works getting money for livelihood seemed difficult and in all this Kabir was born. That was the happiest moment of my life (happiest)… I tried everything I could to give him a healthy and happy life. He was a year old when…. (cry) that night my husband came home as usual drunk and wanted to take my daily earnings. I wanted that money as Kabir had a fever and I had to take him to the hospital the next day but he was adamant to take the money when I refused he hit me and snatched my money… its ok if he did only that but he snatched my Kabir too…. he took away my kid too. I was afraid he might hurt him; I tried following him but lost his track and the whole night I have been searching for my ill kid but when my husband didn’t return the other day too like he used to; I was afraid and lodged a complaint but everything went in vain. I didn’t…. (tears) find my Kabir. I was broke; many negative thoughts erupted in me.. unable to stay there in his memories I reached here and then started living my life without my kid and then met Amar and my life changed. But Kabir and his thoughts never left me; years back when Amar bought me my kid; I was on cloud nine; I felt I have got my life back. But (sad)… but my happiness was short-lived. My kid for whom I was waiting for years was now back only to avenge me for the lies his dad told him. The kid whom I loved for years wanted to see me dead… I was all broken by his that revenge but then Vansh and others always stood by me and I was back to normal but then… then he sent Ragini and almost sent us onto the death bed and then Siya… Siya was the one who was the most affected because of Kabir’s grudge on me and then …. (cry) again came back to our lives and his first target was you. Am… am sorry beta because of my existence you had to face all this which wasn’t for you but for me. Only because I entered into your life… you had to face all this … am sorry Riddhima… it’s all…
Riddhima: Aunty it’s not your fault… Kabir informed me that he targeted me only because I am bhai’s sister…. it’s not because of you aunty. Am fine.. nothing happened to me. So, please stop blaming yourself. You were speaking of your existence than did you ever think what’d have happened to Amar uncle and Ishani? What would this family be without you? I know whatever happened in the past with you cant be changed but that doesn’t mean you’d blame your existence forever. Nothing ever happened either in past or future because of you. It was all destined so that you could get the love you deserved. So, that I could get another mother in you after mom
Anupriya was in tears listening to Riddhima referring to her as a mother; she instantly hugged her
Riddhima (pouting): I thought you’d be happy if I’d be your daughter like Ishani but seems you aren’t interested
Anupriya (smiling): After all, I got a mature and understanding daughter why won’t I be happy!!!
: Hawww…. got one more daughter toh I turned into immature?
They turned to find everyone standing there and Ishani was all red in her fake anger. Approaching them she was muttering some not so good words
Anupriya (whispering): Here comes the trouble
Riddhima (smiling) (whispering): The Drama Queen
Ishani: Ma, how can you say so!!! I am toh a good, cute, innocent child and you are complaining about me to Riddhima?
Angre: Ask me how innocent you are (mumbled)
Though he mumbled it; everyone heard it and were trying not to laugh but seeing Ishani’s pout face all burst into laughter including Anupriya. Ishani with moist eyes hugged her mother tightly
Ishani: Fine ma?
Anupriya (smiling): How could I not be when I have such a beautiful family, who loves me and when I have such a caring and understanding daughter…
Ishani (proud): I know… am the best daughter
Anupriya (chuckling): I was speaking of my mature daughter Riddhima
Ishani pouted and all laughed and had a family hug while Riddhima was observing them with moist eyes. Anupriya gestured her to join them in the hug and she nodded and Pant’s too joined the family hug. Vansh who was a spectator of his chachi’s pain and a smile on her face now smiled and mouthed thanks to Riddhima which she reciprocated with a genuine smile.
